There is a widespread belief that VR technologies can provide controlled, multi-sensory, interactive 3D stimulus environments that engage patients in interven-tions and measure, record and motivate required human performance. In orderto investigate state-of-the-art and associated occupations we provided a carefulreview of6leading medical and technical bibliometric databases. Despite theapparent popularity of the topic of VR use in cardiac surgery, only47articlespublished between 2002 and 2022 met the inclusion criteria. Based on them,VR-based solutions in cardiac surgery are useful both, for medical specialistsand for the patients themselves. The new lifestyle required from cardiac surgerypatients is easier to implement thanks to VR-based educational and motiva-tional tools. However, it is necessary to develop the above-mentioned tools andcompare their effectiveness with Augmented Reality (AR). For the aforemen-tioned reasons, interdisciplinary collaboration between scientists, clinicians andengineers is necessary

Ścieki wymagają zastosowania przepływomierzy o dużym zakresie pomiarowym. Ze względu na przepływ frakcji stałych powinny to być metody odporne na osadzanie się frakcji stałych w przestrzeni pomiarowej przepływomierza. W pracy przedstawiono rozwiązanie przepływomierza, które może mieć zastosowanie do pomiaru ścieków w kanałach otwartych i zamkniętych w szerokim zakresie pomiarowym. Rozwiązanie umożliwia samooczyszczanie kanału pomiarowego.

Wastewater requires the use of flow meters with a large measuring range. Due to the flow of solids, these methods should be resistant to deposition of solids in the measuring space of the flowmeter. The paper presents a flow meter solution that can be used to measure sewage in open and closed channels in a wide measuring range. Moreover, this solution enables the use of a self-cleaning mechanism for the measuring channel.

Comparison of SAP business one and SAP S/4 HANA systems for the purpose of application in education process

The article compares the SAP Business One and SAP S/4 HANA enterprise application software for the purpose of using these solutions in the didactic process. The analysis focuses on the main features of both systems, i.e. functionality, architecture, data model used, and support for e-commerce processes. The main hardware and system requirements of the described software and the possibilities of working in the cloud were compared.

W artykule porównano aplikacje korporacyjne SAP Business One i SAP S/4 HANA w celu wykorzystania tych rozwiązań w procesie dydaktycznym. Analiza koncentruje się na głównych cechach obu systemów, tj. funkcjonalności, architekturze, zastosowanym modelu danych i obsłudze procesów e-commerce. Porównano główne wymagania sprzętowe i systemowe opisywanego oprogramowania oraz możliwości pracy w chmurze.

Building an effective project team for the implementation of IT solutions

The article presents current issues related to the principles that should be followed by the Project Manager when building a project team for the purposes of creating various IT solutions such as websites, computer management systems or mobile applications. The possibilities of creating the so-called virtual teams emerging more and more often in the era of eeconomy and global information society were presented. Based on current literature, the stages of building an IT project team were described, and typical roles and desirable personality traits of individual project group members were listed. The idea of using intelligent machines as members of the project team was outlined.

W artykule przedstawiono aktualne zagadnienia związane z zasadami, którymi powinien kierować się Project Manager przy budowaniu zespołu projektowego w celu tworzenia różnych rozwiązań informatycznych, takich jak strony internetowe, systemy zarządzania komputerem lub aplikacje mobilne. Przedstawiono możliwości tworzenia tzw. Zespołów wirtualnych pojawiających się coraz częściej w erze e-gospodarki i globalnego społeczeństwa informacyjnego. W oparciu o aktualną literaturę opisano etapy budowy zespołu projektowego IT oraz wymieniono typowe role i pożądane cechy osobowości poszczególnych członków grupy projektowej. Przedstawiono pomysł wykorzystania inteligentnych maszyn jako członków zespołu projektowego.

In this paper the notion of photogrammetry is presented. The author discusses the fundamentals of collinearity equations method used in the software for automatically setting the position of a camera by images. The author presents the analysis results of pictures taken and of setting the distance of the camera from the objects.
