The subject of the presented article are studies on the automatic and reliable method of observing flood embankments using a multisensor integrated monitoring system. Designing and developing this type of system is a serious challenge, mainly due to the need to involve experienced specialists and scientists from various fields of science and technology. An element of such a system is the electrical tomograph presented in the article for non-destructive testing. With the help of the presented tomographic system, it is possible to carry out tests of technical objects such as flood barriers and industrial tanks. The described monitoring system, in addition to the software, consists of many subsystems and components, of which sensors play a special role. With their help, the system measures various types of physical parameters, including: wind speed, ambient temperature, voltage, etc. In this text, the authors focused on one of the subsystems of the described solution, namely on the electrical tomography. The principle of operation of the discussed system is based on the observation of the environment using many differentiated, intelligent measurement methods. In addition, an analytical module based on computational intelligence algorithms is an important element of the monitoring system. This module is used to analyze and visualize input data.

Przedmiotem prezentowanego artykułu są badania nad automatyczną i niezawodną metodą obserwacji obwałowań przeciwpowodziowych za pomocą wieloczujnikowego zintegrowanego systemu monitorowania. Projektowanie i opracowywanie tego typu systemu stanowi poważne wyzwanie, głównie ze względu na konieczność zaangażowania doświadczonych specjalistów i naukowców z różnych dziedzin nauki i techniki. Elementem takiego systemu jest tomograf elektryczny umożliwiający badania nieniszczące. Za pomocą systemu tomograficznego można przeprowadzać skanowanie obiektów technicznych, takich jak zapory przeciwpowodziowe i zbiorniki przemysłowe. Opisywany system monitorowania, oprócz oprogramowania, składa się z wielu podsystemów i komponentów, z których czujniki odgrywają szczególną rolę. Za ich pomocą system mierzy różne rodzaje parametrów, w tym: prędkość wiatru, temperaturę otoczenia, napięcie itp. W artykule skoncentrowano się na jednym z podsystemów przedmiotowego systemu, a mianowicie na tomografii elektrycznej. Zasada działania systemu monitorowania oparta jest na obserwacji środowiska przy użyciu wielu zróżnicowanych, inteligentnych metod pomiarowych. Ponadto ważnym elementem systemu jest moduł analityczny oparty na algorytmach inteligencji obliczeniowej. Moduł ten służy do analizy i wizualizacji danych wejściowych.

An image reconstruction with use of EIT method has been found useful in many areas of medical, industrial and environmental applications. Papers show that computational systems used for image reconstructions are utilizing parallel and distributed computations and multi-tier architecture, as well as monolithic architecture. The aim of our research is to define an analytical system architecture that will be able to combine a variety of image reconstruction algorithms with their representations in different programming languages. Based on examples described in different proceedings and research papers, a microservices architecture seems to be an interesting alternative to the monolithic one.

Zaprezentowano postępy prac związanych z budową system analitycznego służącego do rekonstrukcji obrazów obiektów badanych za pomocą elektrycznej tomografii impedancyjnej. Celem system jest elastyczność pozwalająca na integrację wewnątrz jednego system modułów analitycznych bazujących na różnych algorytmach rekonstrukcji obrazu identyfikowanego obiektu. Kolejnym ważnym wymaganiem jest możliwość oprogramowania modułów analitycznych za pomocą najczęściej wykorzystywanych w tej dziedzinie językach programowania. System zapewnia komunikację z urządzeniem za pośrednictwem łączy internetowych, co pozwala na zdalne sterowanie i pobieranie wyników pomiarów. Dodatkowym założeniem stawianym aplikacji jest możliwość korzystania z dowolnego źródła danych (urządzenie typu tomograf, baza danych, systemy plików) poddawanych analizie, a wyniki rekonstrukcji mają być dostępne dla każdego urządzenia komputerowego. Zaprezentowano dwa rodzaje architektury aplikacji, monolityczną i opartą o mikro usługi.

The paper deals with the design of data analysis systems for business process automation. A general scheme of decision support system was developed in which one of the modules is based on Petri Nets. The way of implementation of Petri Net model in optimization problem regarding serviceoriented decision support system was shown. The Petri Net model of distribution workflow was presented and simulation experiments was completed. As a result the optimal solution as a set of parameters was emerged.

Artykuł dotyczy problematyki projektowania zautomatyzowanych systemów analizy danych biznesowych. Opracowano ogólny model systemu wspomagania decyzji, w którym jeden z modułów funkcjonuje w oparciu o sieci Petriego. Zaprezentowano sposób implementacji sieci Petriego do realizacji zadań optymalizacyjnych dotyczących zorientowanego na usługi systemu wspomagania decyzji. Przeprowadzono szereg eksperymentów symulacyjnych wykorzystując model przepływu pracy utworzony na bazie sieci Petriego. Rezultatem badań było wyłonienie optymalnego zbioru parametrów procesu biznesowego.

In this paper the authors are discussing a community-driven system for reporting via smartphones road acceleration data, processed on-the-fly in the cloud computing system for finding possible road artefacts as well as assessing overall road quality on the driver-friendly RRUI scale. The proposed system uses smartphones mounted in a car with little to no calibration or initial setup. By performing a fast analysis in the cloud, data are made immediately available for other users. The system continuously sends to end users' devices data about road quality issues "in exchange" for acceleration information.

The article shows a case study of Cloud Computing model combined with AT-Mega microcontrollers for educational purposes. The presented system takes advantage of many aspects of Internet of Things model, thus conjoining Cloud Management system with measurement-execution module based on Arduino platform. One benefit of this solution is a cost-effective way of showcasing machine and device integration with distinct cloud services. This article is based on practical experience with students' projects and an home alarm system with use of a Cloud Computing services will be described.

Integracja z partnerami w łańcuchu dostaw wymaga odpowiedniego wsparcia informatycznego. Wynikająca z tego konieczność istotnych nakładów finansowych sprawia, iż tworzenie zintegrowanych łańcuchów dostaw często jest nieosiągalne dla przedsiębiorstw z sektora MŚP. W artykule podjęto próbę zbadania możliwości wykorzystania w tym procesie chmury obliczeniowej. Zastosowaną metodą badawczą jest studium przypadku. W artykule przedstawiono rozwiązania utworzone dla dwóch przedsiębiorstw z sektora MŚP: serwisu motoryzacyjnego (zwiększanie integracji wewnętrznej oparte na usługach Saas) oraz hurtowni motoryzacyjnej (zwiększanie integracji wewnętrznej i zewnętrznej oparte na usługach IaaS oraz Saas). Końcowym rezultatem jest identyfikacja faz tworzenia zintegrowanych łańcuchów dostaw przy zastosowaniu chmury obliczeniowej. Przeprowadzone badania wykazują, iż wykorzystywanie chmury obliczeniowej przez przedsiębiorstwa z sektora MŚP daje im możliwość zwiększenia poziomu integracji systemów informatycznych i tworzenia zintegrowanych łańcuchów dostaw przy stosunkowo niskich nakładach finansowych.

Integration with partners in the supply chain requires adequate IT systems support. This causes the need for considerable financial expenditure and makes creating integrated supply chains is often unattainable for companies in the SME sector. In the paper, authors attempt to explore the possibility of using cloud computing in this process. Case study was used as a research method. In the paper, examples of software systems for two enterprises in the SME sector were shown: the automotive service (increasing internal integration based on Saas services) and the automotive wholesaler (increasing internal and external integration based on IaaS and Saas services). Identification of the phases to create integrated supply chains using cloud computing is the end result. The study shows, that the use of cloud computing is for enterprises from the SME sector the opportunity to increase the level of integration of IT systems and the creation of integrated supply chains with relatively low investment.

Współcześni menadżerowie firm logistycznych coraz intensywniej poszukują sposobów, które umożliwią szybkie dostosowanie się do zmieniających się potrzeb i wymagań klientów, zapewnią wysoką przejrzystość procesów logistycznych oraz stworzą przestrzeń do efektywnej współpracy wszystkich uczestników łańcucha dostaw. Jednym z możliwych rozwiązań, które oferuje możliwości sprostania tym wyzwaniom, jest chmura obliczeniowa. W artykule zaprezentowano koncepcję adopcji rozwiązań chmurowych przez nowoczesne przedsiębiorstwa logistyczne. Zdefiniowano techniczne aspekty wdrożenia usług chmurowych oraz zidentyfikowano korzyści i bariery implementacji tego rodzaju usług. Ponadto wskazano obszary zastosowań chmury obliczeniowej. Przedstawiono także narzędzie, które pozwala zbudować platformę IT przeznaczoną do wspomagania procesów logistycznych w oparciu o usługi chmurowe.

Modern logistics managers are increasingly looking for ways that allow quick adaptation of the enterprise to changing customer needs and requirements, ensure high transparency of the logistics processes and create the space for the efficient cooperation of all participants in the supply chain. One of the possible solutions, that offers capabilities to meet these challenges, is cloud computing. The paper presents the concept of adoption of cloud solutions by the modern logistic enterprises. The technical aspects of the implementation of cloud services have been defined and the advantages and the barriers of the implementation of such services have been identified. Moreover, the areas of cloud computing applications have been pointed out. There has been also presented the tool that allows building a platform for the IT support the logistics processes based on cloud services.

Applications of Cloud Computing in enterprises are very wide-ranging. In opposition, educational applications of Cloud Computing in Poland are someway limited. On the other hand, young people use services of Cloud Computing frequently. Utilization of Facebook, Google or other services in Poland by young people is almost the same as in Western Europe or in the USA. Taking into account those considerations, few years ago authors have started process of popularization and usage of Cloud Computing educational services in their professional work. In this paper an attempt was made to identify optimal hardware configurationfor a workstation designated to computer forensics expert, using X-Ways Forensics software. To achieve this objective a body of research data on different hardware setups was collected as a result of their performance examination while conducting diverse tasks during test simulations. With the complete research data, it was possible to determine the most optimal hardware configurationfrom all the setups prepared for the test.

W pracy podjęto próbę ustalenia optymalnej konfiguacji sprzętowej dla stanowiska informatyka śledczego z wykorzystaniem aktualnego, specjalistycznego oprogramowania programu X-Ways Forensics. Aby zrealizować postawiony cel przeprowadzono badania różnych konfiguracji sprzętowych podczas wykonywania wcześniej określonych zadań - symulacji testowych. Po zakończeniu tego etapu prac dokonano analizy wyników badań i przeprowadzono wybór najbardziej optymalnej konfiguracji sprzętowej spośród przygotowanych do testów.

The growing range of ozone application followed by the increase of its production makes the problem of ozone synthesis process optimization very significant from the viewpoint of unit energy consumption. Ozone, using silent discharge method, is mostly generated in the micro-discharge, however the other micro-channel also decomposes it. In order to take advantage of the whole discharge area the micro-discharges should be uniformly distributed as far as possible. A conventional energy sources uses as a fuel coal or oil. In some cases of an ozonizer use is not possible to reach power lines. From the other point of view, application of traditional power sources causes an environment pollution. To get the ozone generation process as clean as possible and also effective, in the presented research a plate ozonizer with PV modules was used.
