Przewóz drogowy towarów niebezpiecznych określonyjest w szczególności w umowie europejskiej dotyczącej międzynarodowego przewozu drogowego towarów niebezpiecznych (ADR). Artykuł przedstawia ponadto podstawowe akty prawne a także podstawowe pojęcia i definicje regulujące ten przewóz. Kolejne rozdziały poświęcono tematyce związanej z bezpieczeństwem, ochroną i nadzorowaniem przewozu towarów objętych ADR. Ukazano także zasady wyznaczania doradców do spraw bezpieczeństwa w transporcie towarów niebezpiecznych, ich rolę i zadania u poszczególnych uczestników przewozu. W zakresie doboru technologii przewozu przedstawione zostały sposoby przewozu, a także przedstawiono zasady i warunki przewozu drogowego towarów niebezpiecznych na przykładzie przewozu materiałów ciekłych palnych (klasa 3 ADR).

Road transportation of hazardous materials is specifically defined in the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). The article also presents the primary legal acts as well as the basic regulatory concepts and definitions for the above mentioned transportation. Further chapters are devoted to the issues concerning the safety, protection and supervision of transportation of hazardous goods included in the ADR. Also set out in this document are the rules of the designation of safe transportation of hazardous materials advisers, as are their roles and their duties as specialised participants in the field of transportation. As far as the choice of the technology of transportation is concerned, the methods of transportation are described, as well as the rules and conditions for the Road transportation of hazardous materials, exemplified with flammable liquids (Class 3 ADR).

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę eco drivingu, jako swoistej ekologicznej i ekonomicznej koncepcji, mającej znaczący wpływ na redukcję zanieczyszczenia środowiska a także ograniczenie kosztów funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw transportowych. Uwzględniono w artykule również aspekty zanieczyszczenia środowiska w kontekście skutków działalności transportu. W tym względzie przedstawiono ogólne przedsięwzięcia zmniejszające szkodliwość emisji zanieczyszczeń, między innymi w zakresie rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych pojazdów. Rozważania teoretyczne zostały podsumowane opisem szkoleń, jakie były realizowane w firmie DAF, w ramach programu „EcoDrive”.

The article presents the problem of eco driving as an ecological and economic idea, which has significant influence on the reduction of both the environmental pollution and the costs of the operation of transport companies. What is more, the article raises an issue of environmental pollution as a consequence of the operation of transport companies. Taking this matter under consideration, the author describes in general actions that are taken in order to decrease the harmful influence of emissions, for example in the field of the solutions in vehicles construction. Theoretical considerations are summarized with the description of trainings, which were conducted in the DAF company, under the "EcoDrive" program.
