The effect of process variables on the NSSC pulp chemical composition – the use of confocal microscopy. The aim of this work was to find the differences in lignin content in the pulp gained after cooking at different temperatures and liquid to wood ratios. The confocal microscopy and ROI method (Region of Interest) were applied. The results proved that the lignin was removed mainly from the fiber’s region having lower lignin concentration.
