W artykule przedstawiono konstrukcję tocznej przekładni spiroidalnej, składającej się z koła płaskiego z uzębieniem czołowym o ewolwentowej linii zębów oraz z łańcucha, na którym zostały rozmieszczone elementy toczne. Napęd może być przekazywany za pośrednictwem kół łańcuchowych bądź ślimaka. Opracowano modele CAD i wyznaczono parametry geometryczne przekładni.

The paper presents the construction of a spiroid roller gear, consisting of a face gear with involute teeth line and a chain with the rolling elements. The torque can be applied to one of the sprocket wheels or to the worm. CAD models have been developed and geometrical parameters calculated.

Omówiono zjawisko tarcia występujące w przekładniach mechanicznych. Podjęto próby opracowania konstrukcji przekładni minimalizujących negatywne skutki tarcia. Zaprezentowano autorskie konstrukcje przekładni beztarciowych objęte zgłoszeniami patentowymi.

The article discusses the gears and the impact of the friction on the transmission. Then there is the attempt to find the constructions of frictionless gears. Finally there are described magnetic and rolling gears and presented the new constructions of frictionless gears, which are patent pending.

A paper contains an optimization algorithm of cross-sectional dimensions of a modular press body for the minimum mass criterion. Parameters of the wall thickness and the angle of their inclination relative to the base of section are assumed as the decision variables. The overall dimensions are treated as a constant. The optimal values of parameters were calculated using numerical method of the tool Solver in the program Microsoft Excel. The results of the optimization procedure helped reduce body weight by 27% while maintaining the required rigidity of the body.
