Artykuł porusza problematykę bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w branży budowlanej. W opracowaniu przedstawiono analizę danych dotyczących wypadków przy pracy, które wystąpiły w latach 2011-2022. Zrealizowane badania statystyczne umożliwiły określenie kierunku i szybkości zmian zachodzących w obszarze bezpieczeństwa w badanym sektorze działalności na przestrzeni przyjętego okresu, jak również były podstawą do wskazania zaleceń w obszarze profilaktyki wypadków przy pracy na placach budowy.

The article discusses the issues of occupational health and safety in the construction industry. The study presents an analysis of data on accidents at work that occurred in period 2011-2022. The completed statistical surveys made it possible to determine the direction and speed of changes in the area of safety in the surveyed sector of activity over the adopted period, as well as were the basis for indicating recommendations in the area of prevention of accidents at work on construction sites.

For years, the construction industry has been characterized by a high number of accidents at work, often with serious or fatal consequences. Therefore, it is necessary to search for new solutions and improve the existing ones in the area of accident prevention. Ensuring an appropriate level of safety in the construction industry is determined by properly targeted risk prevention activities and occupational risk assessment at individual positions. As indicated by the data of the National Labour Inspectorate, the correct performance of occupational risk assessment is often problematic for employers. This study aims to present the methodology of occupational risk assessment for selected positions in the construction industry and to emphasize the role of occupational health and safety in this sector of activity.

Branża budowlana od lat charakteryzuje się wysoką liczbą wypadkow przy pracy, często ze skutkiem ciężkim lub śmiertelnym, dlatego niezbędne jest poszukiwanie nowych rozwiązań oraz doskonalenie funkcjonujących w obszarze profilaktyki wypadkow. Zagwarantowanie odpowiedniego poziomu bezpieczeństwa w branży budowlanej determinowane jest przez właściwie ukierunkowane działania profilaktyki zagrożeń i ocenę ryzyka zawodowego na poszczegolnych stanowiskach. Jak wskazują dane PIP, prawidłowe wykonanie oceny ryzyka zawodowego przez pracodawcow niejednokrotnie jest dla nich problematyczne. Niniejsze opracowanie ma na celu przedstawienie metodyki postępowania przy ocenie ryzyka zawodowego na wybranych stanowiskach w branży budowlanej i podkreślenie roli bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w tym sektorze działalności.

Artykuł porusza problematykę instytucji mediacji w postępowaniach z zakresu prawa pracy. Na podstawie analizy źródeł prawnych, literatury oraz danych statystycznych dokonano oceny efektywności postępowań mediacyjnych w prawie pracy. Ponadto wskazano korzyści płynące z instytucji mediacji i podjęto próbę identyfikacji przyczyn obecnego poziomu wykorzystania tego sposobu rozwiązywania sporów między pracodawcami a pracownikami. W mediacji strony odgrywają ważną rolę w rozwiązywaniu sporów. Często skutkuje to kreatywnymi rozwiązaniami, trwalszymi wynikami, większą satysfakcję i lepszymi relacjami.

The article deals with the issues of mediation in labor law proceedings. Based on the analysis of legal sources, literature and statistical data, the effectiveness of mediation proceedings in labor law was assessed. Moreover, the benefits of mediation were indicated and an attempt was made to identify the reasons for the current level of use of this method of resolving disputes between employers and employees. In mediation, parties play an important role in resolving their own disputes. This often results in creative solutions, longer-lasting outcomes, greater satisfaction, and improved relationships.

Duplex cast steel it is a material with great potential. The properties of this material have contributed to its wide application in many industrial sectors, for example: oil extraction, printing, petrochemical industry, energy - flue gas desulphurization systems, seawater desalination plants, shipbuilding industry. The article presents the results of tribological tests following the static pressure roller burnishing (SPRB) process of GX2CrNiMoN22-5-3 duplex cast steel. The tests provided a basis for assessing the effect of the burnishing parameters on tribological properties of that material. The issue is important because the authors focused their research on duplex cast steels grade that are not containing copper. The article presents part of the research concerning the influence of the burnishing process on the properties of the duplex steel surface layer. Copper in duplex steels affects many areas one of them is the plastic properties. Its absence also reduces castability. Because of that it is reasonable to determine to what extent the properties of the surface layer of copper-free duplex cast steel grades can be shaped in burnishing process.
