Celem pracy było określenie roli i miejsca modelowanie i symulacji w naukach ekonomicznych. Matematyczna gospodarka to jest zestaw metod matematycznych, pozwalających przedstawić teorie i przeanalizować problemy w gospodarce. To zaprzecza, że matematyka nie pozwala ekonomii sformować znaczące, testowane propozycje. Mowa matematyki pozwala ekonomistom konkretyzować, pozytywne wymogi o spornych czy dokładnych tematach, które były by niemożliwe bez matematyki. Dużo co teorii z ekonomicznej jest teraz obecne w terminach matematycznych modeli ekonomicznych.

The aim of the research was to define a role and a place of modelling and simulation in the economic sciences. Mathematical economics is the application of mathematical methods to represent theories and analyze problems in economics. It is argued that mathematics allows economists to form meaningful, testable propositions about wide-ranging and complex subjects which could less easily be expressed informally. The language of mathematics allows economists to make specific, positive claims about controversial or contentious subjects that would be impossible without mathematics. Much of economic theory is currently presented in terms of mathematical economic models, a set of stylized and simplified mathematical relationships asserted to clarify assumptions and implications.The aim of the research was to define a role and a place of modelling and simulation in the economic sciences.
