A mixed pseudo-orthogonal frequency coding (Mixed-POFC) structure is proposed as a new spreadspectrum technique in this paper, which employs frequency and time diversity to enhance tag properties and balances the spectrum utilization and code diversity. The coding method of SAW RFID tags in this paper uses Mixed-POFC with multi-track chip arrangements. The cross-correlation and auto correlation of Mixed-POFC and POFC are calculated to demonstrate the reduced overlap between the adjacent center frequencies with the Mixed-POFC method. The center frequency of the IDT and Bragg reflectors is calculated by a coupling of modes (COM) module. The combination of the calculation results of the Bragg reflectors shows that compared with a 7-chip POFC, the coding number of a 7-chip Mixed-POFC is increased from 120 to 144 with the same fractional bandwidth of 12%. To demonstrate the validity of Mixed-POFC, finite element analysis (FEA) technology is used to analyze the frequency characteristics of Mixed-POFC chips. The maximum error between designed frequencies and simulation frequencies is only 1.7%, which verifies that the Mixed-POFC method is feasible.

The multi-layered fabric system used on firefighter turnout clothing consists of an outer shell, moisture barrier, thermal barrier and comfort lining. Heat and moisture transfer property requirements in firefighter turnout clothing standards are different in the US, EU and China. In this research the water vapour permeability of component fabric samples and the total water vapour permeability of a four-layered fabric assembly were measured according to GA10-2002 (Standard for Fire Fighting Protective Clothing in China). It was found that the moisture transfer property of the fabric assembly could not be exactly reflected only by the water vapour permeability of single-layered fabrics, e.g. the moisture barrier. The heat and moisture transfer property of firefighter turnout clothing should be determined by the whole heat and moisture transfer property of the fabric assembly, for example, the total heat loss (THL), water vapor resistance, etc.

Wielowarstwowe systemy stosowne w ubraniach strażackich składają się z powłoki zewnętrznej, bariery wodoszczelnej, bariery termicznej oraz warstwy zapewniającej komfort noszenia. Wymagania dotyczące wodoszczelności i ochrony termicznej są róże w USA, UE i Chinach. Wodoszczelność warstwy zewnętrznej oraz całego pakietu była bada według norm Chińskich. Stwierdzono, że przepuszczalność wody całego pakietu nie jest określona jednoznacznie przez przepuszczalność wody warstwy wodoodpornej. Właściwości ochronne ubrań strażackich powinny być określone przez właściwości pakietu wielowarstwowego m.in. przez całkowite straty cieplne i przepuszczalność pary wodnej.

The current situation of Chinese steel industry, the multi-iron resources and its recovery as well as utilization were introduced in this paper. The main concerned research activities and technology in China were introduced as well. Some new considerations and suggestion were put forward to increase the use of various recycled iron resources and appropriate degradation of iron ore. A new suggestion was made to establish an international research center for the developing of ultra steel making process which uses more various iron resources and degradation iron ore.

The general situation of renewable energy and its application in China are introduced in this report based on the statistics data from the Chinese government which includes wind energy, hydraulic power energy, Ocean energy, geothermal energy, solar energy and the bio-mass energy (but not the utilization of tide energy, temperature difference energy in Ocean for power generation and salt concentration difference energy in Ocean for power generation). The future developing of some renewable energy in China is introduced in the report as well.
