This paper discusses the impact of post-consolidation management on the improvement of logistic infrastructure in rural areas. It attempts to analyse legal and organisational conditions of land consolidation and post-consolidation management as part of the Rural Development Programme. Between 2007 and 2013, a Rural Development Plan was successfully implemented in Poland. It was the largest aid scheme addressed mainly to the agricultural and food industry. The aim of the programme was to improve the competitiveness of agricultural holdings through strengthening them economically. The authors assume that every organisation should have a logistic system. In this context, the process of land consolidation was presented using the example of a project for Wiercica village, Przyrów gmina in Częstochowa county. The paper also presents the effects of the consolidation process, impact of the post-consolidation management on the improvement of the agrologistic structure of rural areas and the need for logistic actions in these areas.
