The author is dealing with three notions: engineering, landscape and beauty. Giving their definitions, he cites also the general elements of the esthetic situation: author, work, receiver. A man perceiving Nature, learns its laws. Doing this creates, according with Nature, beauty (as a copy or as a stylization of elements) The necessity of beauty's creating, interpreted by various theories, is permanent independently from the tastes and styles. Conscioussnes of nature's laws is a main condition of success in the each task. Probably it is the reason of esthetic reaches (often non intended). The author pays attentione to the fact, that the beauty is devided by aesthetics into: - the beauty of Nature, - the beauty created by a man as a beauty of art, - the beauty created by a man as a casual (secondary) product. Engineering constructions are situated within the last kind of beauty. They are beautiful first of all, because of accordance with Nature's laws. Such are the ways, which repeats natural, soft lines of landscape, regulated (accordinh with Nature's laws) rivers, artificial lake or properly constructed bridges. The article is finished by the assertion, that the protection of landscape, in which are situated engineering constructions is a condition of receiving fool harmony of forms.
