Zgodnie z obecną praktyką projektową najpierw powstaje koncepcja architektoniczna i w 80-90% ustanawiany jest układ wewnętrzny oraz usytuowanie budynku na planie zagospodarowania terenu. Dopiero później pracuje się nad dostosowaniem układu konstrukcyjnego oraz pozostałych projektów branżowych do wymagań ochrony przeciwpożarowej. Taka praktyka może powodować wiele problemów technicznych i projektowych. Projektowanie powinno być kompleksowe, zintegrowane, prowadzone w ramach wspólnych ustaleń międzybranżowych od najwcześniejszego etapu. Dzięki temu przebiega efektywnie i zapewnia prawidłowe współdziałanie instalacji i systemów przeciwpożarowych w budynku, zgodnie z założeniami scenariusza pożarowego. Jeżeli zachowana zostanie również należyta staranność w realizacji zamierzenia inwestycyjnego na etapie wykonawczym, obiekt nie powinien sprawiać problemów przy odbiorze.

According to current practice of architectural design studios, the first step in designing a building is the preparation of the architectural concept that shows about 80-90% of the inside and outside of the building. The further steps concern adapting the constructional design and the rest of installations and systems in the building to the fire prevention precautions. Such a mode of procedure may cause technical and design problems. The design procedure should be comprehensive and integrated, based on joint consultations between the various branchesfrom the earliest possible stages. Thanks to this, building design runs effectively and should ensure proper cooperation between installations and fire prevention systems in the building that will fulfil the requirements of the fire prevention scenario. If the quality of building execution will also be high, it may be expected that such an investment would not uselessly hinder the acceptance procedures.

If the quality of building performance will also be high, it may be expected that such an investment would not cause difficulties in receiving a positive opinion and an approval of the authorities to be used.
