This study treats of the use of motion capture systems as the help diagnose knee injuries. It consists of the theoretical work and the application. The written work describes a course of research includes choice of research group, selection of appropriate exercises, find useful computational methods, description created for research applications and summary results. The practical part was to create an application for physiotherapists which could help them to diagnosis potential pathology of the knee. The purpose of this study was to test whether a motion capture system dedicated to entertainment can be used in the medical aspect. This system was test for selected methods and determined to be suitable for supporting the diagnosis of knee injuries. Otherwise it has to be written what was the reason of failure. The results of the study were that after trial and error methods peeled action and created application proved helpful.

Usability, as an important part of the User Experience, is phenomenon hard to measure because of its subjective nature. There are many analysis methods that help to describe the actual usability condition of a certain object or to discover usability problems for their further improvements, but none of these methods is universal enough to allow conducting the repeatable comprehensive analysis of very complex objects. Main goal of this article is to highlight the possibility of usage the simple mathematical tools as a mechanism for universal, unified, comparable, quantitative usability analysis of any object. For the need of this article, object is referenced to the exemplary internet website.

The article is the result of research into Euroregions with Polish subjects after Polish accession to the European Union. Its contents are a reflection on a possible introduction of German concept of the appointment of a large, two-sided Euroregion covering the eastern lands of Germany and the western provinces of Poland. The publication also contains a historical outline of similar concepts that have arisen in our western neighbours since 1990. It shows the kind of way both parties of the cooperation passed through to get the status quo, which, due to mutual partner treatment, enables the rapprochement of both societies as well as achieving a higher level of the economic development in the region. There has been an evolution in our neighbours’ perception of the Polish western provinces, the infrastructure and economic system of the region. You can venture to say that Polish - German cooperation within the Partnership Oder has created a new quality in the field of interregional partnerships in this part of Europe.

Artykuł prezentuje wybrane aspekty działalności Euroregionu Sprewa-Nysa-Bóbr od momentu jego utworzenia (1993) do września 1998 r. w kontekście związków transgranicznych w Europie Zachodniej. Zamieszczono w nim informacje dotyczące realizacji zadań statutowych oraz ocenę efektywności struktur. Szczególną uwagę skoncentrowano na procedurach finansowania działalności Euroregionu.

This article presents the activities performed by the of Sprewa-Nysa-Bóbr from the moment it was established (1993) until September 1998 in the context of transborder relation in Western Europe. The paper also contains same general information on how the Euroregion operates and describes its structural organisations. It also explains the Euroregion financing procedures.
