The report presents the methodology of benchmarking as one of the key tools in management of the sector of energy distribution. The softwares used in comparisons enables the detailed diagnosis of situation and through simulations shows the most appropriate actions aimed at increasing efficiency of networks of a distribution company. It is one of the key elements necessary for taking strategic decisions by company’s management.

Artykuł przedstawia metodologię analizy porównawczej jako jedno z kluczowego narzędzi w zarządzaniu sektora dystrybucji energii. Oprogramowanie używane w porównaniach umożliwia szczegółową diagnozę sytuacji i poprzez symulację pokazuje najbardziej odpowiednie działania nakierowane w podnoszeniu sprawności sieci spółki dystrybucyjnej. Jest to jeden z kluczowych elementów niezbędnych do podejmowania strategicznych decyzji przez zarząd przedsiębiorstwa.

The paper focuses on the research & development of the Digital Factory solutions for industry. The developed methodology and solution of Factory Mock Up (FMU) is presented. The results of research and development cover design of assembly system, its processes, simulations model, ergonomic analysis etc. In the paper are presented the solutions developed in the framework of co-operation with industrial partners like Volkswagen Slovakia, Thyssen Krupp – PSL, Whirlpool. The advantages, restrictions and way of utilization of Digital Factory solutions are also shown in the paper.
