The purpose of this paper was to investigate in practice the possibility of using evolutionary algorithms to solve the traveling salesman problem on a real example. The goal was achieved by developing an original implementation of the evolutionary algorithm in Python, and by preparing an example of the traveling salesman problem in the form of a directed graph representing Polish voivodship cities. As part of the work an application in Python was written. It provides a user interface which allows to set selected parameters of the evolutionary algorithm and solve the prepared problem. The results are presented in both text and graphical form. The correctness of the evolutionary algorithm's operation and the implementation was confirmed by performed tests. A large number of tested solutions (2500) and the analysis of the obtained results allowed for a conclusion that an optimal (relatively suboptimal) solution was found.

Technika różnicowej spektrometrii ruchliwości jonów (DMS) umożliwia analizę lotnych związków organicznych, takich jak alkohole. Przedstawiono analizę czterech alkoholi: metanolu, etanolu, 2-propanolu i 2,3-dimetylo-2-butanolu. Z wyjątkiem metanolu obserwowano rozpad jonów, który spowodowany był wzrostem temperatury efektywnej jonów, która wynosiła od ok. 103°C dla 2,3-dimetylo-2-butanolu do 277°C dla 2-propanolu.

MeOH, EtOH, i-PrOH or Me2CHCMe2OH - contg. dry air samples (50 ppb to 150 ppm, 50 ppb-2.5 ppm, 80-300 ppb and 50-80 ppb, resp.) were ionized in differential ion mobility spectrometer. The spectra were recorded and analyzed to detect the ion decompn. This was obsd. for all compds. tested except for MeOH. The effective temp. was detd. to be 254, 277 and 103°C for EtOH, i-PrOH and Me2CHCMe2OH, resp.

Badano zdolności roślin ozdobnych do poprawiania jakości powietrza. Przedstawiono wyniki laboratoryjnych badań pochłaniania lotnych związków organicznych przez trzy gatunki popularnych roślin doniczkowych: sansewierię gwinejską (Sansevieria trifasciata), epipremnum złociste (Epipremnum aureum) i difenbachię seguiny (Dieffenbachia seguine). Ponadto przedyskutowano problemy związane z doborem technik pomiarowych umożliwiających ciągły monitoring jakości powietrza, zarówno podczas badań laboratoryjnych, jak i w obiektach rzeczywistych.

Three species of ornamental plants (Sansevieria trifasciata, Epipremnum aureum, Dieffenbachia seguine) were used to improve the quality of the air in workplaces. The lab. tests confirmed removal of volatile org. comp. A new measurement techn. enabling continuous monitoring of the quality of the air in spaces was developed.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcyjną wersję prototypowego pojazdu opartego na zasilaniu czysto-elektrycznym. Przedstawione zostały główne zalety oraz wady takiego rozwiązania. Rozszerzająca się ochrona środowiska kierunkuje rozwój branży automotive w stronę jak najmniejszej emisji toksyn do otoczenia. Jednocześnie wymagane jest zapewnienie użytkownikowi możliwości do pokonania żądanej trasy bez konieczności postoju. Ze względu na ograniczenia techniczne rozpatrywane zagadnienie tyczy się pojazdu przeznaczonego do ruchu miejskiego niemuszącego pokonywać dalekich tras.

The article presents a conceptual version of a prototype vehicle based on purely electric power. The main advantages and disadvantages of such a solution were presented. Expanding environmental protection is driving the development of the automotive industry towards the lowest possible emission of toxins to the environment. At the same time, it is required to provide the user with the opportunity to overcome the desired route without stopping. Due to technical limitations, the issue in question concerns a vehicle intended for urban traffic that does not have to travel long distances.
