The influence of a nano-particle addition on the self-cleaning properties of exterior paints for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems is analyzed. The effect of UV radiation on the color change of paints containing normal pigments and the photo-catalyst titanium dioxide is laboratory tested. To evaluate self-cleaning properties of the paints and their color change due to accelerated weathering processes spectro-photometric tests were performed.

W artykule przeanalizowano wpływ nano-dodatku na właściwości samoczyszczące farb elewacyjnych stosowanych w systemach ETICS. Badano zmiany barwy powłok zawierających zwykłe pigmenty i foto- katalityczny dwutlenku tytanu wskutek działania promieniowania UV. Samoczyszczące właściwości zabrudzonych powierzchni farb i zmiany ich barwy podczas przyśpieszonego procesu starzenia zbadano ilościowo za pomocą techniki spektrofotometrycznej.

Celem pracy, której wyniki prezentuje niniejszy artykuł, było zaproponowanie możliwości usprawnienia działalności przedsiębiorstwa, poprzez wdrożenie zintegrowanego systemu komputerowego w hurtowniach firmowych oraz zastosowanie narzędzia raportującego do analizy sprzedaży. Zakres pracy obejmował badania przeprowadzone w okresie od grudnia 2006 roku do maja 2007 roku na teranie firmy Metalplast LOB S.A w Lesznie. Badania dotyczyły wdrożonego w firmie w 1998 roku zintegrowanego systemu informatycznego. Wdrożenie to zapoczątkowało proces reengineeringu, który określany jest jako stały proces dużych zmian, mający na celu przybliżenie się do doskonałości. W przypadku Metalplastu dotyczył on zastosowania systemów informatycznych.

The article presents an Integrated Computer System of Managing the Company TETRA CS3, supporting management in Metalplast LOB S.A. The aim of the article is to propose improvement of the performance of this enterprise. The Integrated IT System was implemented in LOB in 1998. That implementation marked the beginning of the reengineering process in the enterprise. The System did not concern the wholesale firms. The range of this work concerned the survey which was carried out between December 2006 and May 2007 in Metalplast LOB S.A. in Leszno. The following issues were presented in the article: the whole company, System implementation, the characteristics of its modules and the results of the surveys. The proposals of new solutions, both, the introduction of the wholesale of data and implementation of the new system to all the wholesale firms, were also described.
