Radio-physical properties of polymer composite radio-absorbing materials (RAM) filled by metals and ferrites are studied in the work. The effect of interactions of the polymer binder and filler at the interfaces upon absorption of super high frequency (SHF) radiation energy has been estimated. It was found out that the intensity of these interactions could be monitored by altering temperature regimes during formation of the polymer composite

Content available remote Modern trends in developing joint endoprostheses
EN
Concepts of approximating endoprostheses to natural joints are stated, namely application of polymer units similar to natural cartilage, generation of electret charge on the polymer members and transformation of the metal unit into a source of magnetic field.

Content available remote Electrophysical properties of synovial fluid as a lubricating medium of joints
EN
The work presents the results of studying interrelation between synovial fluid lubricity and its conductivity and charge state of the friction surface in UHMWPE - CoCrMo pair. Negative charging of UHMWPE part surface was found to induce an improving action on the lubrication mechanism and reduced friction coefficient of the pair.
EN
The structural and morphological research of a material friction surface of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene for its use in hip joint cup endoprosthesis has been performed. The dependence of tribotechnical performances of the insert microporous material on parameters of charge state and kind of lubricating liquid has been studied.
