Celem referatu było przedstawienie współczesnych tendencji i kierunków rozwoju rachunku efektywności inwestycji. Autorzy wskazali na dwa główne współczesne kierunki rozwoju rachunku efektywności: pierwszy przejawiający się poszukiwaniem coraz bardziej skomplikowanych i rozbudowanych formuł i algorytmów prowadzenia rachunku efektywności. Drugi natomiast obejmuje poszukiwanie sposobów ograniczania lub wręcz eliminowania wad metod, które są już w praktyce gospodarczej wykorzystywane. W ramach tego kierunku autorzy wskazali na trzy aspekty: metodyczny, aplikacyjny oraz adaptacyjny dokonując ich szczegółowej charakterystyki.

The goal of this paper is to present contemporary trends and directions in development of investment effectiveness' calculation. Authors pointed out two major directions in investment effectiveness' calculation development: first-concentrated in building more and more sophisticated algorithms and formulas for calculation, second - aimed to eliminate and reduce problems and weakness with implemented method application in practice. In this second directions authors separated and characterized three aspects: methodic, applicative and adaptive.

The preceding editorial was composed as a reflection during preparation of strategy report for chemical industrial park "INFRAPARK Police" S.A. The document's chief intention is to commence discussions of problem areas in managing industrial parks' merits under conditions prevailing in Poland. The report is constructed of several components. The first introduces the genesis of establishing industrial parks and presents the types of industrial parks, as well as, evaluates existing chemical industrial parks now operating in Poland. The second, displays selected aspects of managing such parks, and demonstrates specifics of devising industrial park strategies.

In presented paper authors formulated new hypothesis about synergetic benefits derived from cross section between two concepts of competition theory and cost benefit analysis. Authors suggested that the integrating common area include issues related to measures as EVA and MVA, used at value based management concept. Paper is composed of three integrated parts: competition and value as main items in corporate theory, origins and principles of cost benefit analysis, interrelation between both concepts.
