The article describes application of selected methods of technical diagnostics for assessing the operating status of precision gearboxes. Within the confines of experimental measurements in the field of physical metallurgy materials of diagnosed system were being examined while taking into account the process of degradation of material properties during operation of monitored gearboxes. Measurements and collecting of dynamic data were realized on 4 selected gearboxes where a high-frequency vibrations and acoustic emission (noise) measurements were carried out. Retrieved values were subsequently used for mutual correlation and verification of applied methods. Results of both selected methods underlined unsatisfactory operation status with 3 inspected gearboxes. Measured values were identified as being above suggested caution limit of Alarm 2, representing a level of danger.

This article deals with monitoring diagnostic indicators during the operation of a machine used for production of packing materials with a print. It analyses low-frequency vibrations measured in individual spherical roller bearings in eight print positions. The rollers in these positions have a different pressure based on positioning these rollers in relation to the central roller. As a result, the article also deals with a correlation of pressure and level of measured low-frequency vibrations. The speed of the print machine (the speed of a line in meters per minute) is a very important variable during its operation, this is why it is important to verify the values of vibrations in various speeds of the line, what can lead to revelation of one or more resonance areas. Moreover, it examines vibrations of the central roller drive and measurement of backlash of transmission cogs of this drive. Based on performed analyses recommendations for an operator of the machine have been conceived.

Trefileurope worked a lot, in the past twenty years, to develop new rope products for mine hoisting applications. However we also developed rope products for drum hoists, this presentation is focused on Koepe hoist, which are more common in Europe. The development of our dynamic ropes (head and balance ropes) for Koepe hoists has been done in close collaboration with some of our customers, operating very difficult machines, with the aim to obtain longer service lives with efficient easy-to-handle non-rotating products. This lead us to investigate for head rope products with high potential towards fatigue and tread pressure, as well as dynamic phenomenons.

Dotyczy to lin przeznaczonych do wyciągów bębnowych, a szczególnie lin dla wyciągów Koepe, szeroko stosowanych w Europie. Dynamiczny rozwój konstrukcji lin, szczególnie dla urządzeń wyciągowych Koeppe, jest wynikiem ścisłej współpracy z użytkownikami naszych lin wyciągowych nośnych i wyrównawczych w bardzo trudnych warunkach eksploatacyjnych. Celem naszych prac było opracowanie lin konstrukcji nieodkrętnej łatwych w eksploatacji.
