Franchising jest coraz bardziej uniwersalną metodą współpracy gospodarczej w niemal już wszystkich dziedzinach produkcji, handlu i usług. Zaczął cieszyć się powodzeniem także wśród liczących się producentów na całym świecie. Sieć franczyzowa składa się z reguły z kilkudziesięciu przedsiębiorstw, które współpracują z franczyzodawcą. Na przykładzie sieci franczyzowej, reprezentującej franchising handlowy postanowiono omówić problem wynikający ze słabej integracji systemu informatycznego. Zintegrowany system informatyczny klasy ERP, powinien w swych założeniach integrować wszystkie obszary zarządzania przedsiębiorstwa, jednak przeprowadzone badanie wykazuje, że przedsiębiorstwa z sektora MŚP, mają spore problemy z ich wdrożeniem. Kompletne rozwiązanie powinno łączyć nowoczesne, innowacyjne technologie, wspomagające sieci handlowe, współpracujące z oprogramowaniem sprzedaży detalicznej umożliwiające lepsze zarządzanie gospodarką magazynową, zaopatrzeniem, finansami i personelem a także szerokie wykorzystanie Internetu. Artykuł zawiera również przegląd metod doboru odpowiedniego systemu informatycznego.

Franchising is becoming more universal method of economic cooperation already in almost all areas of production, trade and services. It began to enjoy success as among the major manufacturers around the world. Franchise network generally consists of several dozen companies that cooperate with the franchisor. For example, the franchise network, representing the franchising business was decided to discuss the problem resulting from poor integration of information systems. Integrated ERP, in its assumptions should integrate all areas of business management, but the survey shows that enterprises from MSP sector have big problems with their implementation. The complete solution should combine modern, innovative technologies, supporting retailers, cooperating with retail software enable better management of warehouse management, procurement, finance and personnel as well as the extensive use of the Internet. The article also contains an overview of the methods of selecting the appropriate system.
