Artykuł pomyślany jest jako poszerzenie wiedzy studentów kierunku bezpieczeństwo narodowe o problematyce maskowania, często powszechnie ograniczanej do rozumienia maskowania jako kamuflażu. W pracy zawarto interpretację istoty maskowania w relacji do psychologicznych praw teorii poznania. W efekcie zaproponowano kilka niekonwencjonalnych sposobów maskowania.

This article is aimed at widening the student’s knowledge on one of the national security element, that of masking, often commonly restricted to understanding it as a camouflage. The authors overview the essential issues of masking, in relation to the psychological theory of knowledge. This leads to presentation of possibilities of unconventional ways of masking.

Artykuł zawiera rozważania o relacjach zachodzących między rozpoznaniem oraz maskowaniem, będącym jedną z form przeciwrozpoznania, a powstawaniem sytuacji konfliktowych. Wychodząc z założenia, że konflikt jest rezultatem uświadomienia sprzeczności interesów, postawiono wstępnie tezę o konfliktogennym charakterze rozpoznania. Rozpatrzono więc sytuacje, w których przeciwdziała się rozpoznaniu bezpośrednio i pośrednio, w wyniku czego wnioskuje się, że przedsięwzięcia przeciwrozpoznawcze są w stanie jedynie czasowo zapobiec wybuchowi i rozwojowi konfliktów.

This article contains reflections on the relationships occurring between reconnaissance and camouflage, which is one of the forms of anti-reconnaissance, and the development of conflict situations. One assumes that conflict is the result of making conflict of interest, was initially the idea of in the conflictgenerative nature of the reconnaissance. So were considered situations in which prevents the reconnaissance directly and indirectly, as a result, it is concluded that the anti-reconnaissance project are able to temporarily prevent the outbreak and development of conflicts.

To use effectively any radiation detector in high-temperature plasma experiments, it must have a lot of benefits and fulfill a number of requirements. The most important are: a high energy resolution, linearity over a wide range of recorded particle energy, high detection efficiency for these particles, a long lifetime and resistance to harsh conditions existing in plasma experiments and so on. Solid-state nuclear track detectors have been used in our laboratory in plasma experiments for many years, but recently we have made an attempt to use these detectors in spectroscopic measurements performed on some plasma facilities. This paper presents a method that we used to elaborate etched track diameters to evaluate the incident projectile energy magnitude. The method is based on the data obtained from a semiautomatic track scanning system that selects tracks according to two parameters, track diameter and its mean gray level.

Artykuł ten jest w zamierzeniu poszerzeniem treści wykładów prowadzonych na analogiczny temat ze studentami kierunku bezpieczeństwo narodowe. Zawarto w nim prakseologiczną interpretację istoty sytuacji kryzysowej w relacji do sytuacji możliwości kompletnej, sytuacji przymusowej i sytuacji krytycznej. Kolejne rozważania skoncentrowano na analizie niezbędnych zasobów logistycznych w poszczególnych fazach zarządzania kryzysowego. W efekcie zaproponowano kilka niekonwencjonalnych sposobów magazynowania i dystrybucji tych zasobów.

This article’s aim is to broaden lectures given on the same topic to national security students. It it covers issue of praxeological interpretation of crisis situation in comparison to complete possibility, forced situation and critical situation. The deliberations include and are focused on analyses of logistic resources in respective phases of crisis management. As the result – some unconventional methods of storage and distribution of the resources has been suggested.

This paper presents a new method applied to measure the angular neutron emission from Plasma Focus (PF) - type deuterium discharges performed within the PF-1000 facility. Neutrons were recorded by activation of especially optimized (mass and shape) indium samples with subsequent gamma spectrometry to measure the induced activity of the samples. The neutron fluence rate on every indium sample used was determined using neutron transport calculation and measured activity of the samples.

Solid-state nuclear track detectors (SSNTDs) have been used for the registration of charged particles practically since the beginning of the 1960s, when a new class of detectors, called dielectric track detectors, were discovered. The paper describes applications of the SSNTDs type PM-355 for diagnostics of fusion-reaction protons and other ions emitted from plasma focus (PF) devices, tokamaks and laser facilities. Such detectors were also used in biomedical experiments for beam profile measurements. The results of our calibration studies of SSNTDs as well as charged particle- and biomedical measurements, which were carried out within different facilities, are presented.

This paper presents results of the recent plasma-focus (PF) experiments carried out with PF facilities, which was operated at energies ranging from 0.5 MJ to about 1 MJ. Particular attention has been paid to pinch evolution, the emission of pulsed X-ray, fast electron beams, and fusion produced neutrons. Some theoretical models of the initial breakdown, which occurs at the insulator surface, are compared. It is pointed out that modeling of the breakdown is sensitive to kinetics of ionization processes and transport coefficients. Progress in experimental studies of the axial acceleration phase is unsatisfactory. Important experimental data have been collected, but new measurements are still needed. For the radial collapse phase, it was shown that the MHD modeling is efficient until the maximum compression, but plasma instabilities require more sophisticated approaches. The pinch phase was investigated by means of different diagnostics. Fusion neutron yields were measured in different experiments, but some discrepancies in scaling must still be explained. The conclusions concern directions for further studies and optimization of large-scale high-current PF facilities.

Stawia problem o konieczności podejmowania prób wykorzystania nowych podejść do zarządzania strategicznego w strategii wojskowej. W rezultacie, skrótowo prezentuje sposoby aplikacji twierdzeń o bifurkacji, intermitencji i atraktorze dziwnym do wyjaśnienia niektórych problemów nauk wojskowych.

The paper is the collection of author's thought about adequacy of some management theory of chaos in command processes. The problem he discuss is to take the new strategic management approaches to military strategy. It contains the conclusions drawn from theoretical thought about influences of the bifurcation, intermitation and the other factors of the management theory of chaos to explain some problems of military science.

Treść artykułu jest kontynuacją publikacji autora na łamach Biuletynu WAT poświęconych problematyce interoperacyjności. Nawiązując do nich, w niniejszym artykule autor zaprezentował specyfikę interoperacyjności logistycznej, zaproponował kryteria wyznaczania obszarów współdziałania logistycznego i ich parametryzację. Identyfikacja relacji występujących między potrzebami logistycznymi i sposobami ich optymalnego zaspokojenia w formie wspólnych przedsięwzięć logistycznych stanowi podstawę do algorytmizacji procedur interoperacyjnego zabezpieczenia logistycznego. To z kolei prawdopodobnie pozwoli zespołowi badawczemu Instytutu Logistyki WAT zaproponować w przyszłym roku model oceny interoperacyjności potencjału logistycznego.

The paper has introduced the identification of the logistic interoperability. It contains the basic terms. Quality aspects of the logistic interoperability have been characterised on this basis. The paper has presented the results of researche on measurement parameters of logistic interoperability. The paper contains the main conclusions about the essence of logistic interoperability.

The paper presents the results of researche on adaptation of the SWOT methodology to estimate the interoperability of military units. The methodology is known in the Strategic Management. The paper contains the main conclusions about the essence of interoperability. The groups of measurement parameters of interoperability have been proposed. The procedures of interoperability standards have been described and shown at the example.

Przedstawiono rezultaty badań nad istotą interoperacyjności i metodami kontroli jej wdrażania. Artykuł obejmuje wnioski z analizy semantycznej, rozstrzygające problem znaczenia samego wyrazu interoperacyjność. Kontynuując tezę, że interoperacyjność jest swoistą cechą współdziałania, na bazie twierdzeń prakseologii, usystematyzowano miejsce interoperacyjności w pojęciu działanie, ustalono grupy mierzalnych parametrów interoperacyjności, a także zdefiniowano pojęcia osiąganie, utrzymywanie i odtwarzanie interoperacyjności. W dalszej części artykułu przedstawiono propozycje procedur ustalenia standardów interoperacyjności.

Investigation results on the concept of interoperability and on the controlling methods of its application ar presented. Conclusions from semantic analysis connected with definition of the meaning the word interoperability are withdrawn. Continuing the thesis that interoperability is a certain feature of co-operation, on the basis of praxeology, a systematization of interoperability localization in the concept of action is made, the groups of measurable parameters of interoperability are established as well as the concepts of achieving, maintaining and recreation of interoperability are defined. Propositions of procedures for establishing the interoperability standards are also presented.
