After the rapid economic growth through reform and opening-up over 40 years, Chinese governments are seeking transformation for high-quality and sustainable development currently. Regional economic development is related to internal and external environments as well as local government’s character behaviors. Employing Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Consciousness-Context-Behavior (CCB) theory, we construct a theoretical framework to measure the relationships between regional development environment (RDE), local government’s character behavior (LGCB), and regional sustainable capability (RSC). We collect the data of 30 provinces in mainland China from 2001 to 2020 to conduct hypothesis testing and empirical analysis. The results show that both RDE and LGCB are associated with RSC, and LGCB significantly mediates the relationship between RDE and RSC. However, the effects of different RDE elements on RSC are heterogeneous. Our study enriches regional sustainable development theory. It arouses us to better understand LGCB and attach importance to the roles of RDE and LGCB in regional sustainability. The enlightenment is important to global developing countries.

Po szybkim wzroście gospodarczym poprzez reformy i otwarcie w ciągu 40 lat, chińskie rządy dążą obecnie do transformacji w celu zapewnienia wysokiej jakości i zrównoważonego rozwoju. Regionalny rozwój gospodarczy jest powiązany z otoczeniem wewnętrznym i zewnętrznym oraz charakterem zachowań samorządu terytorialnego. Wykorzystując teorię programowania neurolingwistycznego (NLP) i świadomość-kontekst-behawior (CCB), konstruujemy ramy teoretyczne do pomiaru relacji między środowiskiem rozwoju regionalnego (RDE), zachowaniem charakteru samorządu lokalnego (LGCB) a zrównoważonym potencjałem regionalnym (RSC). Zbieramy dane z 30 prowincji w Chinach kontynentalnych od 2001 do 2020 roku, aby przeprowadzić testowanie hipotez i analizę empiryczną. Wyniki pokazują, że zarówno RDE, jak i LGCB są powiązane z RSC, a LGCB znacząco pośredniczy w relacji między RDE i RSC. Jednak wpływ różnych elementów RDE na RSC jest niejednorodny. Nasze badanie wzbogaca regionalną teorię zrównoważonego rozwoju. Pobudza nas to do lepszego zrozumienia LGCB i przywiązania wagi do roli RDE i LGCB w zrównoważonym rozwoju regionalnym. Oświecenie jest ważne dla globalnych krajów rozwijających się.

Introduction: We developed a convergent trigonometric functions technique (arcCOS, arcSIN) capable of dealing with the virtual source position delivered by different carbon ion energies from the pattern of scanning-passive scatter beam in this study. Materials and Methods: A home-made large-format CMOS sensor and Gaf Chromic EBT3 films were used for the virtual source position measurement. The Gaf films were embedded in a self-designed rectangular plastic frame to tighten the films and set up on a treatment couch for irradiation in the air with the film perpendicular to the carbon ion beam at the nominal source-axis-distance (SAD) as well as upstream and downstream from the SAD. The horizontal carbon ion beam with 5 energies at a machine opening field size was carried out in this study. The virtual source position was determined with a convergent arcCOS and arcSIN methods and compared with the linear regression by back-projecting the FWHM to zero at a distance upstream from the various source-film-distance. Results: The film FWHM measurement error of 0.5 mm (the large-format CMOS detectors was in pixel, a pixel equals 0.5 mm) leads to 1×10-3% deviation of α(cACOS and cASIN) at every assumed virtual source position. The overall uncertainty for the reproducibility of the calculated virtual source position by the assumed t in the vertical and horizontal directions amounts to 0.1%. The errors of calculated virtual source position by assumed t with back projecting FWHM to zero methods were within 1.1 ± 0.001, p = 0.033. The distance of virtual source positions is decreased from SAD with high to low energy. Conclusion: We have developed a technique capable of dealing with the virtual source position with a convergent arcCOS and arcSIN methods to avoid any manual measurement mistakes in scanning-passive scatter carbon ion beam. The method for investigating the virtual source position in the carbon ion beam in this study can also be used for external electrons and the proton.

This paper proposes a method of end milling of cycloidal gears using a five-axis computer analytical control (CNC) machine tool. Firstly, the basic principle of the five-axis end milling of cycloidal gears is introduced. The cutting characteristics of the ball-end and the flat-end cutters are analyzed. Secondly, the path planning method of the five-axis end milling of cycloidal gears is researched. A curvature matching method is used to check for local over-cut interference and a minimum distance method is used to check for global collision interference. These two interferences are avoided by calculating the feasible range of cutter orientations and adjusting the dips of cutter shafts. Tests of end milling of cycloidal gears are carried out using a ball-end cutter and a flat-end cutter, respectively. Finally, full tooth profile accuracy measurements are undertaken with an image-measuring instrument to assess the quality of cycloidal gears processed in this way. This study provides a theoretical basis for the improvement of the tooth profile accuracy and surface quality of cycloidal gears.

We establish the quenched large time asymptotics for the Feynman-Kac functional [formula] associated with a pure-jump symmetric Lévy process (Zt)t⩾0 in general Poissonian random potentials V ω on Rd, which is closely related to the large time asymptotic behavior of solutions to the nonlocal parabolic Anderson problem with Poissonian interaction. In particular, when the density function with respect to the Lebesgue measure of the associated Lévy measure is given by [formula] for some α ∈ (0, 2), θ ∈ (0, ∞] and c > 0, an explicit quenched asymptotics is derived for potentials with the shape function given by φ(x) = 1 ∧ |x|−d−β for β ∈ (0, ∞] with β ̸ = 2, and it is completely different for β > 2 and β < 2. We also discuss the quenched asymptotics in the critical case (e.g., β = 2 in the example above). The work fills the gaps of the related work for pure-jump symmetric Lévy processes in Poissonian potentials, where only the case that the shape function is compactly supported (e.g., β = ∞ in the example above) has been handled in the literature.

Accurate and reliable fault location is necessary for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the VSC-HVDC transmission system. This paper proposed a single-terminal fault location method based on the fault transient characteristics of the two-terminal VSCH-VDC transmission system. The pole-to-pole transient fault process was divided into three stages, the time-domain expression of the DC current during the diode freewheel stage was used to locate the fault point, and a criterion for judging whether the fault evolves to the diode freewheel stage was proposed. Taking into account the enhancing effect of the opposite system to the fault current, the DC side pole-to-ground fault networkwas equated to a fourth-order circuit model, the relationship of fault distance with the characteristic roots of fault current differential equationwas derived, and the Prony algorithmwas utilized for datafitting to extract characteristic roots to realize fault location. A two-terminal VSC-HVDC transmission system was modelled in PSCAD/EMTDC. The simulation result verifies that the proposed principle can accurately locate the fault point on the VSC-HVDC transmission lines.

A series of high-entropy mineral catalytic materials were obtained by mixing rare earth tailings containing Fe oxide and rare earth concentrate rich in Ce in Baiyun Obo in different proportions, and by acid-base leaching and microwave roasting. The effects of different proportions of mixed rare earth minerals on the denitrification activity of the samples were analyzed by various techniques, including XRD, EDS and SEM. The mineral phase structure and surface morphology of the catalysts were analyzed. The surface properties of the samples were tested by TPD and XPS methods. The denitrification activity of the sample was simultaneously evaluated and compared in the microreactor. The results show that the denitration efficiency of the active powder is the best when the mixing ratio of rare earth tailings/rare earth concentrate is 1:1, the denitration rate can reach 82%. In summary, different proportions of optimization are extremely effective methods to improve catalyst performance.

Water samples collected from the Jiaozhou Bay every two months between April 2016 and February 2017 were analyzed for dissolved organic carbon (DOC), particulate organic carbon (POC), total dissolved carbohydrates (TCHO), total hydrolyzed amino acids (THAA), and chromophoric dissolved organic matter (CDOM) to explore the biogeochemical processes of dissolved organic matter (DOM) in anthropogenic estuarine and coastal environments. In addition, nutrients, chlorophyll a and COD (chemical oxygen demand) in these samples were also analyzed. All parameters exhibited temporal and spatial variations: POC 0.13-22.40 mg/L (average 1.75 mg/L), DOC 0.98-32.75 mg/L (average 5.04 mg/L), COD 0.23-7.58 mg/L (average 1.67 mg/L), TCHO 0.34-14.09 µM (average 3.18 µM), THAA 0.89-8.30 µM (average 4.04 µM), and the absorption coefficient a(355) of CDOM 0.23-16.35 m − 1 (average 3.09 m − 1). The temporal and spatial variations in the concentrations of TCHO, THAA, and DOC implied that the DOM in the study areas had a relatively higher biochemical activity. The canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) and maximal information coefficient (MIC) revealed that seasonal variations in temperature and the phosphate concentration were the dominant factors regulating the DOM distributions in Jiaozhou Bay, while riverine inputs and in situ reproduction mainly controlled the DOM compositions.

As an independent geothermal proxy, the Curie-point depth has important geodynamic implications, but its estimation from magnetic anomalies requires an understanding of the spatial correlation of source magnetization, mathematically characterized by a fractal exponent. In this paper, we show that fractal exponent and Curie depth are so strongly inter-connected that attempts to simultaneous or iterative estimation of both of them often turn out to be futile. In cases of true large Curie depths, the iterative “de-fractal” method has a tendency of overcorrecting fractal exponents and thereby producing erroneously small Curie depths and smearing out true geological trends. While true fractal exponent can no way be constant over a large area, a regionally fxed fractal exponent is better than any mathematical treatments that are beyond the limit of data resolution and the underlying physics.
