The paper present problem of dynamics of a train as a complex. The developed hardware and software of the simulating system for train drive is presented. The simulator is dedicated for engine drivers training. It enables the shortening of the training terms and reducing of the quantity of driver's fault actions while the new personnel is being trained. As a consequence, the material and financial expenses for their training are being essentially reduced. Due to use of calculation techniques for energy-saving modes of driving during the simulator training, the drivers acquire skills of rational consumption of the power carriers for train traction. The analysis have shown the 10% savings of energy can be achieved.

W artykule podjęto zagadnienie kompleksowej analizy dynamiki pociągu. Przedstawiono opracowane oprogramowanie i hardware systemu symulacyjnego do analizy jazdy pociągu. Symulator przeznaczono do celów szkoleniowych. Pozwala on na skrócenie czasu szkolenia i redukcję liczby błędów nowo szkolonego personelu. W konsekwencji zredukowano koszty szkolenia. Symulator zawiera moduł obliczeniowy pozwalający na poprawę umiejętności w kierunku oszczędnego gospodarowania wykorzystaniem energii, dzięki czemu, jak wykazały analizy, można uzyskać oszczędność energii elektrycznej do ok. 10%.

As a rule, a railway vehicle is considered as a system consisting of solid bodies when spatial oscillations are mathematically modelled. Such bodies in a freight four-axle car with three-piece bogies are: a car body, bolsters, side frames, wheelsets. When describing a mathematical model, certain assumptions are being usually made as to absence of linear or angular relative movements of bodies in a system. The suggested model takes into account all types of relative movements in all directions (3 linear and 3 angular ones). The types of braces are assumed to be as follows: the elastic brace, the dissipative one, dry friction ones, or their combinations. If it is necessary to restrict body movements in whatever direction, the brace parameter is given as equal to the structure's rigid characteristic. The 'wheel-rail' contact is considered as a specific kind of brace. Thus, the unification of description of braces among system parts can be obtained - in this way simplifying modelling as a whole. Appropriate computer software has been developed. The software debugging was done by means of setting single vertical and horizontal rail irregularities. It made possible correcting the types and parameters for chosen braces among bodies of the system. During the calculation process, stochastic vertical and horizontal irregularities on rails were set. The results of theoretical studies and experiments have been compared. The adequate correlation of all dynamic features compared has been obtained.

Opracowano matematyczny model pojazdu szynowego uwzględniający wszystkie rodzaje ruchu we wszystkich kierunkach (trzy - liniowe, trzy - kątowe). Opracowano odpowiednie oprogramowanie komputerowe. Zostało ono zweryfikowane i sprawdzone przez zadawanie pojedynczych poziomych i pionowych nieregularności szyny. Pozwoliło to na korektę typów i parametrów połączeń głównych elementów systemu. Podczas procesu obliczeniowego były uwzględnione stochastyczne wartości poziomych i pionowych nieregularności szyn. Porównano rezultaty badań teoretycznych i eksperymentalnych oraz przedstawiono korelacje pomiędzy nimi.

Statistical approach in specifying the railway track irregularities for analysis of dynamic loading of rolling stock (in particular, freight wagons) is proposed in the paper. Comparison of principal dynamic indices for freight open wagons using either rail line irregularities measured in experiment or ones obtained in modelling is performed. The results agree well, conforming the reliability of proposed technique for specifying the track irregularities.

W pracy przedstawiono statystyczne podejście do opisu nierówności toru kolejowego, który w dalszej kolejności wykorzystywany jest do analizy dynamicznego obciążenia pojazdów szynowych (zwłaszcza węglarek). Przedstawiono porównanie wyników badań doświadczalnych z wynikami badań teoretycznych. Duża zgodność teorii z eksperymentem potwierdza słuszność proponowanej metodyki.
