W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ugięć doraźnych i długotrwałych belek żelbetowych wzmocnionych w strefie rozciąganej taśmami kompozytowymi z włókien węglowych i porównano je z ugięciem belek niewzmocnionych. Belki były wzmacniane przy rozwartości rysy 0,1 mm, aby odwzorować najczęściej spotykane sytuacje eksploatacyjne.

The article presents the results of short-term deflection and long-term deflection of CFRP-strengthened reinforced concrete beams. The results were compared to unstrengthened-reinforced concrete beam deflection. The beams were strengthened at setup under the load (0.1 mm crack width) to reproduce in the laboratory most common cases which occur at construction sites.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań doświadczalnych belek żelbetowych wzmocnionych taśmami CFRP przyklejanymi do betonu w strefie rozciąganej lub wklejanymi w bruzdy prostopadłe do powierzchni rozciąganej belki. Redukcja ugięcia i szerokości rozwarcia rys w tak wzmacnianych belkach zależy przede wszystkim od stopnia tego wzmocnienia.

This paper presents the comparison of unstrengthened RC beam to Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP)-strengthened reinforced concrete beams. The experimental results show significant reductions in deflections and increased bearing capacity of CFRP-strengthened RC beams. Elements were strengthened by two methods: Externally Bonded Reinforcement (EBR) and Near Surface Mounted Reinforcement (NSMR).

The strengthening of reinforced concrete structures with steel plate bonding techniques are currently being replaced by fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) laminates. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) is a quite new material and the rheological behavior of structural materials is significant. The studies focusing on long-term behavior of FRP-strengthened concrete elements. The aim of this paper was to compare two strengthening methods: near surface mounted reinforcement (NSM CFRP) and CFRP strip bonding technique. It presents results of experiment performed on three bonding concrete beams with dimensions of 150 x 250 x 3300 mm, under sustained load.
