Artykuł skierowany jest przede wszystkim do tych użytkowników odlewni wyposażonych w żeliwiaki, którzy zamierzają jeszcze przez długi czas korzystać z tego typu pieca. O zaletach ekonomicznych procesu żeliwiakowego nie trzeba nikogo przekonywać, natomiast poważny problem stanowi emisja spalin z żeliwiaka do atmosfery i związane z tym opłaty za zanieczyszczenie środowiska. W wielu przypadkach odlewnie zlokalizowane są w miastach co jest uciążliwe dla środowiska i mieszkańców. Wychodząc naprzeciw temu problemowi Prodlew-Warszawa w ramach całej gamy działań proekologicznych przygotował ofertę na nowoczesną instalację odpylania dla typowych żeliwiaków używanych w krajowych odlewniach. W artykule omówiono dwa wariantowe rozwiązania różniące się typami zastosowanych urządzeń i ich cechą. W wariancie l zastosowano filtr workowy i chłodnicę rurową spalin, natomiast w wariancie 2 zastosowano filtr kieszeniowy i chłodnicę kieszeniową spalin. Wariant l oparty został w całości o urządzenie krajowe. Obydwa proponowane rozwiązania spełniają wymogi ochrony środowiska.

This article is first of all addressed to these foundries which, still equipped with cupolas, are going to use this type of furnaces for a long time. There is no need to convince anybody about the economic advantages of the cu-pola process, however, the emission of cupola combustion gases to the atmosphere is a serious problem which is connected with the charges for the pollution of environment. Inmany "cases foundries are situated in the middle of cities and they are noxious to the surrounding environment and its inhabitants. Trying to solve this problem, PRODLEW-WARSZAWA within the range of its pro-ecological activities prepared an offer of the modern dedusting installation for typical cupolas being used in home foundries. Two variant solutions which differ from each other in the type of the applied installations and their features are described in the article. In the first variant bag filter and a pipe cooler for combustion gases are used, while in the second variant pocket filter as well as a pocket cooler for combustion gases are applied. The first variant has been completely based on the home installations. Both suggested solutions fulfil the requirements of the environmental protection.
