Relationship of the statistical analysis of the field distribution and the ozone production capacity of the electrode arrangements

Previously, the authors have investigated five different electrode arrangements and that resulted different ozone production capacity. The aims of this paper is to highlight the reasons for these difference in ozone production as related to the potential and electric field distribution. The electric field parameters of the electrode arrangements have been calculated using the finite element method, and the results of the field calculation are analysed by statistical diagrams. The density functions of the potential and the electric field show significant correspondence to the ozone production capacity. The field calculation of the study deals with the case when the space charge is zero.

Autorzy badali pięć różnych układów elektrod do analizy powstawania ozonu. W niniejszej pracy przeprowadzono analizę zależności między rozkładem pola elektrycznego a wytwarzaniem ozonu. Parametry pola elektrycznego były obliczane metodą elementu skończonego a rezultaty obliczeń były analizowane metodami statystycznymi. Funkcje gęstości prawdopodobieństwa potencjału wykazywały silny związek z możliwościami wytwarzaniem ozonu.
