The work shows the results of comparative tests for the composite of a polypropylene/powder rubber TSF type, using different crumbling technologies. According to mechanical proprieties of composite materials obtained one can formulate suitable conditions for their forming.

The results of comparative investigations on mechanical properties of PP-copolymer with powdered rubber have been presented in the paper. Powdered rubber coming from post-consumer wastes has been added to the PP matrix in the activated and non activated form.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia konstytuowania właściwości użytkowych polimerowych tworzyw kompozytowych. Główną uwagę skupiono na procesach składowych, tj. na rozdrabnianiu oraz mieszaniu składników, mających istotny wpływ na właściwości użytkowe wytworu. Podkreślono rolę i znaczenie poszczególnych procesów składowych na jakość uzyskanego tworzywa kompozytowego. Zaprezentowano niektóre rezultaty pracy oraz wskazano kierunki dalszych badań w zakresie określenia optymalnych warunków przetwórstwa tworzyw kompozytowych.

The present paper presents some problems of "tayloring" the properties of poly-mer composites. A special attention has been paid to the constituent operations like pretreatment, agglomerating, grinding and blending having an essential effect on the product final properties as well as to a great role and interaction of the individual opera-tions on the composite quality. Finally the study shows some test results and further directions of research to determine the optimal conditions of composite processing.
