The article is an attempt to look at chemical weapon as a potential source of threats towards the natural environment. In the introduction, the authors recollected the definition and evolution of chemical weapon which, in spite of international conventions, is still in many world armies combat arsenal. They also discussed the mechanism of the pollution contamination using combat toxic means. Part two deals with the characteristics of industrial toxic means, many of them have been considered First Generation chemical weapon. Their negative influence upon the environment, at a wide industrial use, can be significant. The last problem mentioned in the article are fitotoxines as a separate group of combat toxic means belonging to pesticides. They are designed to destroy vegetation. Depending on the type, dose and designation, their influence on the environment can be different. Some of them are very effective in agriculture, the others, specially combat mixes, are used to destroy forests, crops and other vegetation.
