Spectrally Tuneable LED Lighting Simulator Laboratory Room at University of Panonia

In our research laboratory – first in Europe – two laboratory rooms have been developed, which are equipped with spectrally tuneable LED lighting system. This lighting system contains 17 kinds of narrow-band colour LEDs (having peaks between 410 nm and 690 nm) and 3 kinds of phosphor white LEDs. Visual experiments carried out so far in lighting booths can be adapted into the real-size experimental environment, which describes real situation. In case of full-scale experiments, observer is able to do psycho-physical experiments with full immersion.

Zaprojektowano i wykonano - pierwsze w Europie – laboratoryjne pomieszczenie ze spektralnie strojonym światłem LED. System składa się z 17 wąskopasmowych diod (międy 410 nm I 690 nm) oraz trzech fosforowych białych diod.

On the application of modern light sources - with emphasis on home lighting

To be able to save lighting energy new light sources have to be introduced. This should not be done without considering the needs these sources have to serve for. In this paper we concentrate on the question of home lighting, and analyze why the compact fluorescent lamps did not find more widespread application in home lighting. We show that modern T5 fluorescent lamps have their application area in home lighting, and discuss what is needed to be able to introduce light emitting diodes in home lighting.

Oszczędności energii na potrzeby oświetlenia wynikają ze stosowania nowoczesnych źródeł światła. Nie byłoby to możliwe bez rozpatrzenia potrzeb jakim powinny one odpowiadać. W artykule odniesiono się do oświetlenia mieszkań i analizowano brak szerszego stosowania świetlówek kompaktowych w oświetleniu mieszkań. Pokazujemy, że świetlówki liniowe T5 znajdują zastosowanie w oświetleniu mieszkań i rozważamy możliwości zastosowania diod elektroluminescencyjnych w oświetleniu mieszkań.
