W artykule przestawiono wyniki badań podatności na przebicie geosyntetyków układanych w różnych konfiguracjach. Analizie poddano średnice przebić poszczególnych kompozytów (z uwzględnieniem wartości sił przebicia zmierzonych w czasie badań). Wskazano, jaki układ przeniesie uszkodzenia w sposób najmniej urazowy.

The article presents the results of puncture resistance of geosynthetic materials laid in different configura-tions. The analysis covers the diameters of puncture holes in specific composites (accounting for the values of puncture forces measured during the tests). The article presents a system that would transfer damage with as little injury as possible.

The article discusses the features and areas of application of clay geosynthetic barriers. It presents the results of studies on the relationship between the diameter and number of openings in the barrier, height of water column and flow rates. The effect of punch damage on GBR-C efficiency was determined.

The idea of establishing the Post-Glacial Land of the Drawa and Dêbnica Geopark emerged on the initiative of the members of Polish Geological Institute – Pomeranian Branch of the National Research Institute and local authorities. At the beginning of the year 2011, commissioned by the Minister of the Environment by the funds of the NFEP&WM, launched works intending to establishment of the Geopark of the Post-Glacial Land of Drawa and Dębnica. The major intention of the concept was researching and demonstrating the 50 geosites covering the Post-Glacial Land and their integration into a consistent network, establishing fundaments of the geopark. The geopark consists of the lands between Połczyn-Zdrój, Barwice and Czaplinek and is positioned in the eastern part of the Zachodniopomorskie voivodenship. The geopark is located inside the early post-glacial landscape, with dominant form of undulant moraine uplands with: terminal moraines, dead ice moraines, kemes, tunel valleys, ice-marginal valleys, kettle holes and sandurs. The geotouristic potential of the region focuses on the early postglacial landscape, and its biggest beauty the shape of the terrain.

The cliff in Ustka is an active one. The area is one of the most eroded sea shores of the Polish coast. The Ustka Cliff mainly consists of Holocene sandy deposits, but its basis is built of gla-cial till and clay. Field search allowed to recognize the structure and sedimentary conditions of Holo-cene deposits exposed in the cliff. A comparison of dating results obtained for fossil soils and peat as well as aeolian deposits, using 14C and TL methods, respectively, with available literature records is presented. The evaluation of results obtained allowed to define three main dune-forming phases for the first time for this part of the Polish coast. During the research studies new data on the processes and environmental conditions was gained and the development of structure of the area during the last 10 thousand years was reconstructed. The analysis of available data from other sections of the south-ern Baltic coast shows that results obtained are age similar to those determined for the Łeba Spit. The research is part of a project concerning the geomorphology of the Ustka Bay.
