Algorithm for searching critical speed of the cross-flow induced vibrations is presented. It is based on analysing results of the numerical solution of the set of coupled differential equations with time delay, fn the mathematical point of view the set represents a tube simply suported on both ends forced by cross-flow and vibrating within a gap.
