Face recognition using the simple feature extractors

In the article the class of feature extractors for face recognition is presented. The extraction is based on the simple approaches: image size reduction with pixels concatenation in a one feature vector, random selection of points from the area of a face, spectrum calculation of a face image, and finally computation of the histogram. On the base of examples from the ORL database of faces [1], it is shown that face recognition using this class of extractors is particularly efficient and fast.
