W pracy przedstawiono pomiary in-situ i analizy MES czterech mostów dla pieszych. Analizowano konstrukcje różnego typu i wykonane z różnych materiałów. Przeprowadzono pomiary przebiegów przyspieszeń na konstrukcjach rzeczywistych, a następnie wyznaczono gęstości widmowe przyspieszeń, co pozwoliło na identyfikację częstotliwości drgań własnych. Dokonano także oceny parametrów tłumienia konstrukcji w oparciu o badania in-situ. Następnie wykonano modele metody elementów skończonych analizowanych konstrukcji, a następnie przeprowadzono analizy modalne. Wyznaczone częstotliwości drgań własnych zostały porównane z otrzymanymi na podstawie gęstości widmowych mocy wyznaczonych z pomiarów. Uzyskana została duża zgodność potwierdzająca prawidłowość modelowania konstrukcji. Wykonano analizy dynamiczne mostów dla pieszych poddanych oddziaływaniu zmiennemu w czasie i odpowiadającemu wymuszeniom zastosowanym na rzeczywistych obiektach. Uzyskano zadowalającą zbieżność wyników otrzymanych z pomiarów, jak i z komputerowej analizy dynamicznej.

In-situ measurements as well as FEM analyses of the four footbridges have been presented in the paper. There have been analysed structures of various types and made of various materials. The in-situ measurements of series of accelerations have been made, and then functions of power spectral density of accelerations have been calculated. This allowed identification of natural frequencies of vibrations. Estimation of parameters of structural damping has been made on the basis of the in-situ measurements, as well. FEM models of each structure have been used in modal and dynamic analyses. The calculated values of natural frequencies have been compared with the ones obtained on the basis of PSD functions from the measurements.There has been good agreement obtained, which leads to the conclusion of proper modelling of the real structure. Further on, dynamic analysis of the footbridges subjected to the varying in time excitation has been made. The excitation function has been assumed in the shape following the ones used in the measurements. There has been good agreement achieved in both, experimental measurements and computational simulation.

Different methods for computing PageRank vectors are analysed. Particularly, we note the opposite behavior of the power method and the Monte Carlo method. Further, a method of reducing the number of iterations of the power method is suggested.

Konsekwencją wejścia w skład państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej jest ujednolicenie prawa, w tym także przystosowanie Polskich Norm budowlanych do europejskich odpowiedników. W obecnym okresie przejściowym projektant ma możliwość wyboru norm projektowych, co może skutkować różnym życiem materiałów konstrukcyjnych, a zatem i kosztem. W artykule przybliżono specyfikę norm eurokodowych w zakresie projektowania elementów drewnianych, w szczególności dźwigarów dachowych z drewna klejonego. Zamieszczono wyniki obliczeń przykładowego dwutrapezowego dźwigara dachowego przeprowadzone według obu norm wraz z ich analizą.

The consequence of the membership of Poland in the European Union is the unification of the law, including the adaptation of Polish Building Standards to the European equivalents. Actually the designer is allowed to choose the Standards. It follows the differences in material use and its cost. The paper describes the details of the calculation timber elements, specially glued timber in Eurocodes. The calculations results of double tapered beams made of glued laminated timber obtained by using both standards, analyzes and conclusions are presented in the paper

In this paper we investigate the impact of semantic information on the quality of hierarchical, fuzzy-based clustering of a collection of textual documents. We show that via a relevant tagging of a part of the documents one can improve the quality of overall clustering, both of tagged and un-tagged documents.

The problem of testing statistical hypotheses of independence of two multiresponse variables is considered. This is a specific inferential environment to analyze certain patterns particularly for the ąuestionnaire data. Data analyst normally looks for certain combination of responses being morę freąuently chosen than the other ones. As a result of experimental study we consider an algorithm that can be effective for the problem.

W pracy rozważany będzie problem testowania hipotezy statystycznej niezależności dwóch pytań z wielokrotna możliwością odpowiedzi. Do analizy pewnych modeli, szczególnie danych ankietowych, potrzebne jest specyficzne środowisko wnioskujące. Zwykle analityk danych poszukuje kombinacji odpowiedzi występujących częściej od innych. Rezultatem naszych eksperymentalnych badań jest algorytm, który jest propozycja pewnego efektywnego rozwiązania problemu.
