The article analyses the issue of the extension of the historical architectural didactic complex in Poland. The conditions of the building before the design process was described and the adopted design solutions were analyzed. Design works allowed to arrange form of facades. The results of the work is an additional didactic and administrative space. The article analyses the results of cooperation between local delegation of Regional Office of Protection of Historical Monuments and the architect, which allowed to extend the possibilities of historical use of the object in combination with the newly design part.

Artykuł omawia zagadnienie lokacji miasteczka przy zamku w Krasiczynie. Przeanalizowano uwarunkowania w jakich zostało założone miasteczko oraz wyszczególniono etapy rozwoju zabudowy przyrynkowej. Krasiczyn to wieś w województwie Podkarpackim, która dziś znana jest głównie z historycznego zamku. Na podstawie zebranych materiałów źródłowych i wizji lokalnych w terenie zbadano charakterystykę rozwoju urbanistycznego założenia. Miasteczko zostało zlokalizowane na osi łączącej główny wjazd do zamku na kierunku zachodnim. Zabudowa wytyczona przy rynku w pierwszej fazie drewniana, a w kolejnych latach drewniano-murowana charakteryzowała się ukierunkowaniem szczytów w stronę centrum wnętrza urbanistycznego.

The current article describes previous ideas concerning urban layout of the nearest neighborhood of Krasiczyn Palace. The location conditions were analyzed and individual steps of development has been specified. Krasiczyn is a village located in Podkarpackie province, in the southeastern Poland. Based on the collected source materials and field research the characteristics of assumptions of urban development were examined. Krasiczyn was located on the main axis connected the main entrance to the palace on the west. Wood building in the nearest area of the main market was replaced by wood-and-brick structure with characteristic orientation of the gabble ends towards the center of the urban interior.
