Porównanie nośności styku śrubowego doczołowego sprężonego według eurokodu i PN-B

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki obliczeń sprężonego styku śrubowego według eurokodu oraz normy PN. Zgodnie z normą europejską dokonano sprawdzenia nośności połączenia w pierwszym stanie granicznym na rozciąganie i przeciąganie styku, zaś według normy PN obliczono nośność w pierwszym stanie granicznym zerwania śrub oraz nośność w drugim stanie granicznym rozwarcia styku. Porównanie otrzymanych wyników pokazuje różnice w nośności styku w zależności od przyjętego toku postępowania zawartego w normach.

The article presents the calculation results of prestressed end-plate bolted connection according to Eurocode and Polish Standard. According to the European norm there were verified the tensile resistance and load bearing capacity of the contact area under the first ultimate limit state, whereas the Polish standard was used to calculate the resistance of bolt shank fracture under the first ultimate limit state and the resistance of spacing under the second ultimate limit state. Comparison of the obtained results demonstrates that there is a difference in the resistance of spacing resulting from the adopted course of action included in particular codes and standards.

On the basis of elderly people’s requirements and as a reaction to changing social structures, a number of old people’s homes were built between 1950 and 1980 in Germany. The design of these buildings does not represent modern energy standards and is characterized by significant modernization potential. In this paper, a case study will be analyzed and three refurbishment scenarios based on the status quo will be presented and rated taking energy efficiency as well as the costs and benefits of the measures into regard.

W reakcji na wymagania osób starszych oraz zmieniające się struktury społeczne, w latach 1950-1980 na terenie Niemiec zbudowano wiele domów seniora. Projekty tych budynków, które nie reprezentują nowoczesnych standardów energetycznych, charakteryzują się znacznym potencjałem modernizacyjnym. W niniejszym artykule analizujemy wybrany dom, a także przedstawiamy i oceniamy trzy scenariusze modernizacji oparte o istniejący stan rzeczy, biorąc pod uwagę wydajność energetyczną oraz koszty i zalety stosowanych metod.

Dokładne badania pracy (niezbyt zadowalającej) pokazowej instalacji systemu chłodzenia absorpcyjnego wykazały, że bardzo powolna dynamika elementów składowych tylko w nieznacznym stopniu została uwzględniona w koncepcji regulacji. Przy pomocy wspartych symulacją studiów nad regulacją można było wykazać, iż zapotrzebowanie na ciepło dla układu regeneracyjnego można zredukować o 90%.

Microbial culture products have been used commercially in oil wells for over 15 years to control paraffin, enhance oil production rates, and alleviate well bore problems such as scale and corrosion. Microbes have wide-ranging capacity to cause desirable changes in fluid properties and the various mechanisms by which microbes act are described. Traditionally, microbial treatments were designed to act like traditional chemical treatments. These considerations involve the production of biosurfactants, solvents, and other oil-mobilizing agents. Production of these bene-ficial chemicals in situ improves oil flow properties, removes occlusions from the formation pore channels, and releases oil trapped in the formation. The broad spectrum of oil types and formations that have been treated successfully are reported along with treatment protocols. Treatment of well problems with microbial cultures provides several benefits over traditional technologies. Microorganisms have the ability to colonize the formation matrix and continually produce desirable products in situ for prolonged periods of time. Recent advances in microbial culture technology have led to identifying specific metabolic capabilities and developing applications to apply these unique capabilities to certain well problems. Examples of these applications are given, as well as considerations of mechanisms and modes of action.
