Celem pracy było przedstawienie biomechaniki stawu kolanowego jako największego stawu w organizmie człowieka, określenie systemu pomiaru zakresu ruchów w tym stawie oraz systematyczny przegląd urządzeń służących do wspomnianych pomiarów. Podstawą przygotowania przeglądu urządzeń pomiarowych były doświadczenia własne autora, a także przegląd dostępnej bibliografii oraz przegląd rynkowy funkcjonujących już urządzeń. Zestawienie narządzi pomiarowych zostało usystematyzowane od najprostszych - manualnych do bardziej zaawansowanych - elektronicznych, aż po inteligentne.

The aim of the study was to present the biomechanics of the knee joint as the largest joint in the human body, to define the system for measuring the range of movements in this joint and to systematically review the devices used for the above-mentioned measurements. The basis for the preparation of the survey of measuring devices were the authors' own experience, as well as a review of the available bibliography and a market review of existing devices The list of measuring tools systematized them from the simplest - manual to advanced - electronic, until to intelligent.
