Content available Concept of a CDR resonance screen

Review of existing solutions of resonance screens, including their technical parameters are presented. The following resonance screens are discussed: GHH type, multi-mass ZDR type, GRO-1 type, EGK-2 type, CDR-8 type, etc. On this basis, the strengths and weaknesses of the discussed solutions of resonance screens are identified. Conclusions resulting from the analyzes of the applied solutions were used in KOMAG to develop the concept of the CDR-85K resonance screen. The assumptions made during development of the concept of a new resonance screen solution are presented, and then its structure and principle of operation are discussed. A general drawing of the designed screen with selected parts is provided. The attention was paid to the innovative solutions used in its design.

The paper represents an informational technology for recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) monitoring among the tissues of a surgical wound. The technique for applying the electrophysiological method for surgery wound tissue stimulation is described in detail as well as an assessment of the reaction on this stimulation. The main principles for adapting the parameters of this method to the specific patient are outlined. To estimate the reaction on the stimulation and define the distance from the stimulation point to its closest placement point, the spectral analysis of the informational signal is used. The approbation results of the applied technique during the thyroid surgery are described.

Artykuł przedstawia technologię informacyjną do monitorowania nerwu krtaniowego wśród tkanek rany chirurgicznej. Opisano technikę stosowania elektrofizjologicznej metody chirurgicznej stymulacji tkanki rany, a także ocenę reakcji na tę stymulację. Przedstawiono główne zasady dostosowania parametrów tej metody do konkretnego pacjenta. Aby oszacować reakcję na stymulację w celu wykrycia RLN i określenia odległości od punktu stymulacji do jego najbliższego punktu umieszczenia, stosuje się analizę spektralną sygnału informacyjnego. Opisano wyniki zatwierdzenia zastosowanej techniki podczas operacji tarczycy.

The variety of accidents which happen during the construction of oil and gas wells causes the expansion in the use of magnetic fishing tools. However, the known tools based on permanent magnets have a significant drawback involving the flat working surface of the magnetic system that does not permit to achieve a considerable attraction force to a fished object of complex geometric shape. Therefore, the aim of the research is to increase the efficiency of removal the objects of irregular geometric shape from the wells by enlarging the area of contacting them. For that purpose, it has been developed a fundamentally new design of the large-diameter fishing tool with the moving magnetic systems capable of copying the shape of the objects to be fished. Each magnetic system, which is compound of permanent rare-earth neodymium magnets and concentrically placed magnetic cores, shall be held by the magnetic field of adjacent systems with opposite polarity. There were conducted theoretical studies using the finite element method to determine the working capacity of the designed tool. As a result, it has been found the value of hoisting capacity during the interaction of magnetic systems with the roller cone of the drill bit; this fact confirms the capability of fishing the objects of irregular geometric shape. In addition, it has been explored the influence of the material of the fished object on the power characteristics of magnetic systems. The application of the designed magnetic tool allows removing the ferromagnetic objects from the well regardless of their shape, weight and position on the bottom hole. Apart from that, the given tool may be used in the areas where the technology of work is related to drilling wells.
