In this paper the results of studies on a prevention of runaway in liquid-liquid semi-batch reactors are reported and discussed. The so-called safety diagram developed previously for single reactions is here adopted for multiple reactions. Following the method based on this safety diagram, the inherently safe reactor operation conditions can be determined and expressed in terms of the cooling number.
