The main aim of the paper was to present the results of calculations which was directed to evaluate the influence of Coriolis force on separation process of solid particles from liquid in a hydrocyclone. The influence of hydrocyclone diameter, diameter of solid particles and velocity of material at the inlet flange was investigated. It was shown that there is a zone within hydrocyclone in which the influence of Coriolis force is considerable.
