This article presents CaTV splitters. Basic features of splitters and influence of basic factors on crucial parameters were investigated in this article. Additionally, correction circuits for parameters improvement were proposed. The research considered two-way, three-way and four-way splitters. Some examples of applications of splitters in passive devices used in CaTV network were presented.

This article presents CaTV splitterring taps. Basic features of the splitterins taps and the influence of basic factor on crucial parameters were investigated in this article. This article presents a radio coupler which is used as a part of some CaTV passive devices. Basic characteristics were investigated and a few examples of application were given in this content. Additionally correction circuits for improvement of important parameters were described.

Rutynowe podejście do projektowania płatwi ciągłych polega na przyjęciu wszystkich podpór niepodatnych. W rzeczywistości podpory płatwi są podatne, co wynika z ugięć konstrukcji wsporczej. Wadliwy model obliczeniowy może stanowić przyczynę awarii konstrukcji. Na odstępstwa modelu obliczeniowego od rzeczywistego zachowania się konstrukcji szczególnie wrażliwe są uciąglone płatwie z kszałtowników giętych.

In standard design approach for roof purlins all supports are considered as rigid. In fact these supports are flexible becouse of the flexibility of main frames. The inappropriate design model can cause failure of the structure. Cold-formed purlins require a particulary careful approach during calculation and are sensitive to any deviation of the calculation model from real behaviour of the structure.

Opisano skutki awarii. Wśród przyczyn wskazano wadliwość modelu obliczeniowego, który nie opisywał zachowania rzeczywistej konstrukcji. Nieuwzględnienie podatności podpór płatwi ciągłych z kształtowników giętych spowodowało niebezpieczne przeszacowanie ich nośności.

The outcome of the collapse of a light warehouse steel structure is described. The defective calculating model is found as one of the causes of collapse. The disregard for spring character of purlin supports leads to an insecure overestimation of its limit load.
