The place of sub-cultural discourse in systemic theory of culture. An example of analysis of homosexual discourse

The article is the proposal of using the opportunity of systematic approach to culture in order to analyse the problems of cultural minorities. Referring to M. Fleischer concepts, the author presents the results of research on subculture of Polish homosexuals. According to this concept, the individual subsystems form their own ways of expression called the discourse. The internal functions of the discourse directed toward the maintaining of the tenacity of subculture and, then, the external functions directed toward exerting an influence on inter-discourse are analysed here.
