The article discusses the possibilities of introducing selected aspects and problems in the robotization of the workstation in the hot die forging process, the production of the yoke forging carried out on a crank press in a manual system. The implementation of the developed solution was performed to increase the production efficiency without lowering the quality and mechanical parameters of the produced forgings and with preserved durability of the forging instrumentation. The conducted investigations included numerous aspects of the whole process line, with a special consideration of the adjustment of the currently realized technology to the working conditions of the robots in reference to the ejector system ensuring proper collection and relocation of the forgings by the manipulator grippers in the consecutive operations. The conduct also included the selection and localization of the robots and the grippers solutions, as well as the changes in the tool construction aiming at adjusting it to the gripper pins as well as collecting the hot charge material from the heater. Implementing robotization into one of the most difficult production processes aimed at replacing the role of a human by transferring the competences from the operator of the die forging process onto a supervising person, where all the activities are realized automatically, thus eliminating the effect of the human factor on the quality of the manufactured product. Additionally, the robotization of the forging process brought a lot of tangible benefits, such as stability and repeatability of the process (reduction of reject rate), as well as increased efficiency and quality of the forgings.

Seismic acquisition guided by the compressive sensing theory can significantly improve seismic data acquisition efficiency and reduce the cost. After reviewing the basic principles of compressive sensing, we propose an optimized random sampling method that can control the maximum sampling interval and improve the design flexibility. We analyze several factors that can introduce reconstruction errors from compressive sensed data and learn that besides sampling method, reconstruction errors increase with decimation degree and the complexity of structures and also depend on the reconstruction workflow. In addition, we provide a basic workflow of the geometry design of compressive sensing acquisition. We analyze the feasibility of the three types of receiving equipment that are widely used in marine environment and discuss the potential cost reduction and efficiency gain. Our field example demonstrates the detailed working process and the feasibility of the combination of random sailing line intervals and random shot intervals and verifies the effect of cost saving and efficiency increasing.

W artykule autorzy opisują modelowanie elektrotermiczne dla nowej metody kontroli temperatury procesora, w której nowością jest użycie dodatkowego czujnika temperatury na radiatorze. Wykorzystując model dla systemu procesor – radiator – otoczenie wyliczona została funkcja mocy procesora, która ma zapewnić stabilizację temperatury. Uwzględnia ona zmienne warunki odprowadzania ciepła, dzięki czemu możliwe jest zwiększenie wydajności obliczeniowej procesora bez zwiększenia jego temperatury.

In the article the authors present an electro-thermal modeling for new method of microprocessors control in which the novelty is an additional sensor placed on heat sink. Using processor-heat sink-ambient model analytical form of power function was calculated which is able to be used for stabilization of processor temperature. This function takes into account changing outer conditions and finally leads to increase of processor throughput.

Each organisation, regardless of its profile, strives to achieve the best results possible; however, it needs to be noted that they frequently are different for each entity. Based on the studies and observations, the authors noticed that famous companies have similar approaches to the organisation of processes. These processes can be assigned to Lean Philosophy derived from the Japanese manufacturing industry. Many corporations and even smaller companies apply Lean principles. To introduce changes to the organisation and functioning of businesses, it is indispensable to subject them to Lean Transformation and to map basic value streams for the company as a whole and for its individual departments.

Celem każdej organizacji zarówno działającej w przemyśle, jak i w firmach usługowych, urzędach czy jednostkach budżetowych jest uzyskanie jak najlepszych wyników. Wyniki te są definiowane dla każdego podmiotu w odmienny sposób. Na podstawie badań i obserwacji określono, że procesy w każdej ze znanych organizacji cechują się wieloma podobieństwami. Procesy te można połączyć i podporządkować filozofii Lean mającej swoje korzenie w japońskich przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych. Wiele dużych koncernów podobnie jak mniejszych firm z powodzeniem stosuje zawarte w tej filozofii zasady działania. Zmiany w funkcjonowaniu zarówno ludzi i/lub kultury działania organizacji dzięki implementacji Lean możliwe są w przypadku wskazania podstawowego strumienia wartości dla ogółu firmy, jak i strumienia wartości dla poszczególnych jej działów.

Ze względu na wysoki koszt zmienny produkcji klinkieru w Cementowni Strzelce Opolskie, przedsiębiorstwo Górażdże Cement SA. zdecydowało się na modernizację pieca obrotowego nr 1 w cementowni Górażdże i zwiększenie jego wydajności z 3500 do 6000 t/d. Modernizacja obejmowała przebudowę cyklonowego wymiennika ciepła, dobudowanie wstępnego dekarbonizatora z bocznikiem i rurociągiem trzeciego powietrza, wymianę płaszcza pieca i wymianę chłodnika planetarnego na rusztowy oraz budowę nowych odpylaczy chłodnika i pieca. Ponadto zwiększono wydajność młyna do surowca z 300 do 440 t/h i wydajności urządzeń na składowisku surowca z 210 do 280 t/h. Rozruch instalacji nastąpił w maju bieżącego roku.

Taking into account high variable costs of clinker production in cement plant Strzelce Opolskie, the enterprise Górażdże Cement S.A. decided to modernize the rotary kiln No 1 in cement plant Górażdże and to increase its capacity from 3500 to 6000 tpd. The modernization involved the reconstruction of cyclone preheater, addition of precalciner with by-pass and tertiary air duct, reneval of kiln shell and replacement of planetary cooler with grate cooler as well as construction of new cooler and kiln dust collectors. Moreover the output of raw material mill has been increased, from 300 to 440 tph, as well as the capacity of devices at storage systems, from 210 to 280 tph. The start up of installation took place in May this year.
