Polish Armed Forces after the September 1939 campaign in Poland waged the war with Germany on all the Europe's fronts of the II world war. The weight of the armed struggle in Poland rested on clandestine Union of Armed Strugle (ZWZ), renamed later Home Army (AK). The biggest clandestine army of the II world war (in 1944 - 350000men) war provided with the war equipment by air, the aeroplanes flying from the British Isles, and later from Italy. To secure this operations a clandestine meteorological network war organised, which sent weather reports twice a day by wireless to the Polish station in London.
