Purpose: The article refers to actions undertaken by the global environment1 in the 21st century in favour of sustainable development, basically concentrating on the agreement defined as sustainable finance, the assumptions of which appeared as a result of the Climate Summit in Katowice in 2018. The principal objective of the article is to expose the interdependencies that result from the assumptions of sustainable finance and venture capital, which have been increasing after the global financial crisis, due to strengthening of financial stability as a social good of the contemporary global economy, based on sustainable development formula. Design/methodology/approach: The realisation of this objective encompasses several grounds. The first concerns facultative financing of the effects of risk in enterprises and public organisations. The second relates to identification of venture capital in credit and insurance institutions, as well as investment companies. The third one, however, focuses on principles and instruments for financing sustainable investments outlined in the concept of sustainable finance. Findings: It is indicated in the study, that venture capital in the EU economy increases mainly as a result of rigorous regulatory discipline in financial institutions and the concept of sustainable finance will strengthen the observed trend. Originality/value: The paper contains analysis, which should be of great value for academics and practitioners, especially for those who occupy managerial positions.

The concepts of a sustainable enterprise and a sustainable organization are the examples of attributive organizations which make up one of the key categories among contemporary management concepts. Due to the identified research gap, the aim of the paper is to conduct the general publication profiling analysis in order to contribute to mapping the field of studies on a sustainable enterprise and a sustainable organization. The paper includes the analysis of the scientific productivity in the field, citation frequency analysis, and the profiling of the research output according to the criteria of: a country/territory, an institution, a source title, an author and a subject area.

Koncepcje zrównoważonego przedsiębiorstwa i zrównoważonej organizacji są przykładami organizacji atrybutowych, które stanowią jedną z kluczowych kategorii wśród współczesnych koncepcji zarządzania. Mając na uwadze zidentyfikowaną lukę badawczą, celem artykułu jest profilowanie badawcze publikacji dotyczących zrównoważonego przedsiębiorstwa i zrównoważonej organizacji ukierunkowane na mapowanie pola badawczego. Artykuł zawiera analizę liczby publikacji i ich cytowalności oraz profilowanie publikacji z uwzględnieniem kryteriów: państwa, afiliowanej instytucji badawczej, czasopisma, autora oraz obszaru badawczego.

The fact that companies are constantly subjected to changes creates challenges connected with constant learning and acquiring knowledge. Companies are forced to act in accordance with the generative strategy. Besides realizing the traditional tasks of production or service, companies need to acquire and process knowledge and apply it in practice. The consequence of these changes is the transformation of contemporary enterprises into knowledge-based organizations, with managers increasingly recognizing the role and importance of the concept of knowledge management in creating enterprises competitiveness. The main aim of the article is identification of knowledge management in production enterprises.

W obliczu postępującej degradacji ekosystemu naszej planety w artykule wskazano na znaczenie środowiska naturalnego w działalności gospodarczej przedsiębiorstw. We wstępie artykułu zamieszczono cel opracowania. W rozdziale pierwszym przybliżono znaczenie zrównoważonego rozwoju jako sposobu na ochronę środowiska naturalnego i przeciwdziałaniu problemom społecznym. Zaprezentowano definicje zrównoważonego rozwoju. W dalszej części opracowania zamieszczono treści dotyczące znaczenia ekologii w zrównoważonym przedsiębiorstwie. Przedstawiono zagadnienia, które powinny uwzględniać aspekty ekologiczne w realizowanej działalności biznesowej przedsiębiorstw począwszy od planowania poprzez nastawienie personelu pracowniczego i opracowania strategii marketingowej uwzgledniającej w swoich działaniach aspekty ekologiczne. Opracowanie kończą wnioski, w których podkreślono wagę racjonalnego gospodarowania zasobami naturalnymi Ziemi w trosce o zapewnienie szans na rozwój przyszłym pokoleniom.

In view of the progressive degradation of the ecosystem of our planet, the article indicates the importance of the environment in business enterprises. The introduction of the article contains the aim of this work. The first chapter brings closer the importance of sustainable development as a way of protecting the environment and preventing social problems. It presents definitions of sustainable development. The further part of the article contains the information about the importance of ecology in sustainable enterprise. It presents the issues, which should take into account the environmental aspects of the business activities of enterprises from planning through the attitude of staff members and development of marketing strategy taking into account in its activities the ecological aspects. The article includes conclusions, which underline the importance of the rational use of natural resources of the Earth in order to provide opportunities for the development of future generations.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia zrównoważonego rozwoju w kontekście gospodarki opartej na wiedzy. Korzystając z danych statystycznych oceniono wartość potencjału społecznego pod względem wykształcenia i posiadanych umiejętności. Dodatkowo nawiązano do krajowych ram kwalifikacji, które mają stworzyć nowy obraz szkolnictwa wyższego. W ostatniej części artykułu zaprezentowano ogólny model interpretacji kapitału intelektualnego przedsiębiorstwa w odniesieniu do idei zrównoważonego rozwoju biznesu.

The article presents some problems of sustainable economy in the context of knowledge development. On the base of statistic data the value of social capital was estimated with regard to education and skill. Moreover domestic frame of skill in higher education were characterized. The frame creates the basic for new image of our higher education. Last part of article is connected with sustainable model of business in which the intellectual capital is the key element.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienia związane z projektowaniem i wdrażaniem zrównoważonego rozwoju w różnych sektorach działalności człowieka. Polskie i niemieckie doświadczenia, mimo różnic sytuacji wyjściowej, są podobne. Naukowcy obu krajów zwracają uwagę na konieczność naukowego podbudowania działań politycznych poprzez wyposażenie polityków w niezbędną informację naukową. Jednak wskazują także, że polityka zrównoważonego rozwoju nie może być jedynie implementacją wiedzy naukowej, ale musi uwzględniać wzajemne oddziaływania nauki i polityki w ciągłych cyklach uczenia się i rezonansu. Nauka dla zrównoważonego rozwoju powinna mieć określone zadania badawcze, w których podstawę stanowią komponenty aksjologiczne, empiryczna weryfikacja, ekstrapolacja wykorzystująca modelowanie i symulację, ewaluacja, interpretacja rezultatów oraz weryfikacja strategii i działań. W dalszej części artykuł porusza zagadnienia zrównoważonego przemysłu, zrównoważonego rolnictwa i edukacji dla zrównoważonego rozwoju, przy czym edukacja staje się głównym czynnikiem budowania świadomości zrównoważonego rozwoju i w związku z tym podstawą działań w pozostałych sektorach.

The article presents issues connected with planning and initiating sustainable development in different sectors. Polish and German experiences, despite the differences of datum-points, don't really vary. The scientists from both countries point at the necessity of building up scientific background to the political acting through providing the politicians with necessary scientific information. They mention also that politics of sustainable development can't be only implementation of scientific knowledge, but it also has to include interplays of science and politics in continuous cycles of learning and resonance. Science for sustainable development should have specified research fields, where the background are axiological components, empirical verifications, extrapolation using modeling and simulation, evaluation, results' interpretation or verification of strategies and actions. In the further part the article we are moving to issues of sustainable industry, sustainable agriculture and education for sustainable development, where education becomes the main initiator for building sustainable development awareness and - in connection with that - the base for actions in other sectors.

W pracy przedstawiono problemy, jakie pojawiają się przy próbach praktycznego zastosowania zasady odpowiedzialności na szczeblu globalnym, lokalnym oraz w skali przedsiębiorstwa. Zanalizowano zagrożenia występujące wskutek jej niewłaściwej interpretacji i uszczegółowienia na każdym ze szczebli. Zrównoważone przedsiębiorstwo wydaje się być najbardziej obiecującą formą skutecznego wdrożenia zasady odpowiedzialności w praktyce.

In working out the problems that arise from attempts to practical application of the principle of responsibility at the global level, local level and scale of the company. Analyzed risks occurring as a result of its incorrect interpretation and detail on each level. Sustainable company seems to be the most promising form of the effective implementation of the principle of responsibility in practice.
