Artykuł stanowi przyczynek do badań wybranych aktualnych i potencjalnych problemów prawnych, które wiążą się z uprawianiem kolarstwa szosowego. Dotyczą one zarówno sportu rekreacyjnego, jak i wyczynowego i obejmują nie tylko kwestię odpowiedzialności za wypadki, ale szerzej - stosowania przepisów i pozaprawnych zasad ruchu drogowego zarówno podczas zorganizowanych zawodów, jak i poza nimi.

The article is a contribution to the research on selected current and potential legal problems related to the practice of road cycling. They concern both recreational and competitive sports and cover not only to the issue of liability for accidents, but also more broadly - to the application of regulations and non-legal traffic rules, both during and outside organized competitions. The article was written to commemorate Ryszard Szurkowski (1946-2021).

Purpose: This paper aims at the description and comparison of methods of topographic analysis of racing courses at all disciplines of alpine skiing sports for the purposes of obtaining: terrain geomorphology (snowless and with snow), course geometry, and competitors’ runs. Methods: The review presents specific methods and instruments according to the order of their historical appearance as follows: (1) azimuth method with the use of a compass, tape and goniometer instruments; (2) optical method with geodetic theodolite, laser and photocells; (3) triangulation method with the aid of a tape and goniometer; (4) image method with the use of video cameras; (5) differential global positioning system and carrier phase global positioning system methods. Results: Described methods were used at homologation procedure, at training sessions, during competitions of local level and during International Ski Federation World Championships or World Cups. Some methods were used together. Conclusions: In order to provide detailed data on course setting and skiers’ running it is recommended to analyse course geometry and kinematics data of competitors’ running for all important competitions.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie problemów związanych z organizacją zawodów sportowych o randze międzynarodowej. Problem jest aktualny i istotny, ponieważ na świecie organizuje się coraz więcej imprez sportowych. Sport stał się widowiskiem przyciągającym także przed telewizory wielu kibiców, więc ważna jest profesjonalna organizacja zawodów. Wiele artykułów podejmuje problem logistyki imprez sportowych z punktu widzenia operatora logistycznego, lecz brakuje wiedzy na temat praktycznych problemów samego organizatora imprezy. W artykule posłużono się metodą wywiadów z członkami Polskiego Związku Pływackiego, zaangażowanymi w organizację Mistrzostw Europy Juniorów 2013 w Poznaniu. Autorka postawiła takie oto hipotezy: logistyka imprez sportowych pozwala skoordynować wszystkie zadania organizatora imprezy sportowej w całość; bez rozwiązań logistycznych nie jest możliwe zorganizowanie i przeprowadzenie imprezy sportowej.

The aim of the article is to present the problems associated with the organization of sports competitions of international importance. The problem is current and important because in the world are organized more and more sporting events. Sport has become a spectacle attracted millions of fans, so important is the professional organization of the event. Many articles raises the issue of logistics sporting events from the point of view of logistics operator, lacks a knowledge of the practical problems of the organizer of the event. The article is a presentation of the results of the European Swimming Federation (LEN) document analysis for the organization of international competitions. The piece of writing, in addition, contains interviews with members of the Polish Swimming Association, who participated in preparing one of the biggest sporting events in Poland – The European Junior Championships in Poznań. The author has set such a hypothesis here: logistics sporting events can coordinate all tasks organizer of a sporting event together; without logistics solutions isn’t possible organizing and conducting sports event.
