: In the present research the microelement content in some cultivars of rapeseed and theirs variability were assessed. Thirty three samples of rapeseeds, obtained from IHAR experimenta1 stations from 1994-1998 seasons were ground and dry incinerated at 550°C and the ash was dissolved in 10 % of HCl. The contents of Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn, Pb, and Cd in samples were determined by the atomic spectrophotometry method. The results obtained show considerable divergence of extreme values from average microelement content in rape seeds. The greatest variability of lead and the lowest of manganese content were found. The study proved the presence of differences between cultivars for copper, manganese and cadmium.

Określano zawartość oraz zmienność mikroelementów w nasionach wybranych odmian rzepaku ozimego. Trzydzieści trzy próbki nasion rzepaku zebrane w latach 1994-1998 w Zakładach Doświadczalnych IHAR zmielono, a następnie spopielono w temperaturze 550°C, a uzyskany popiół rozpuszczono w 10 % HCl.
