Artykuł powstał na bazie doświadczeń zdobytych podczas pracy dydaktycznej autora jako wykładowcy i nauczyciela akademickiego prowadzącego zajęcia w Laboratorium Podstaw Metrologii. Przytoczono przykłady nieprawidłowości w przedstawianiu wyników pomiarów i wartości wielkości fizycznych pochodzące z prac pisemnych studentów i skonfrontowano je z zaleceniami Międzynarodowego Układu Jednostek Miar (SI), oraz polskimi aktami prawnymi.

The paper is based on the many years of author’s experience and observations taken during work as lecturer and academic teacher in the Laboratory of Basics of Metrology. Many examples of incorrectness in students’ reports are quoted and confronted with rules and style conventions of the International System of Units (SI). All examples of improperly presented results of measurements or expressed values of quantities are divided into nine categories: lack of distinction between an object and its attribute (measurand), errors in expressing the measurement uncertainty, too many digits in the results of measurement data processing, improper scale of a graph and style of labelling the axes, improper using of names and symbols of units, errors originated from the lack of a space or improper use of a space, clarity in writing values of quantities, improper stating values of dimensionless quantities, improper use of SI prefixes to form the names and symbols of the decimal multiples and submultiples of SI units.
