Sustainable development has become an important criterion for human beings to pursue happiness in their daily lives. In order to ensure the sustainable development of the earth, the first step is to let this concept take root. Hence, the key to making a campus into a green university and promoting national consensus lies in the implementation quality. Moreover, the influence of the factors can be effectively examined and improved by providing correction plans on a rolling basis according to the green university certification criteria and from the perspective of business performance. The aim is to provide detailed coping strategies and facilitate schools moving towards the goal of a green university. By the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), this study explored the criteria for green university evaluation, investigated the causal relationship and mutual influence among criteria. It also offered suggestions on green performance management for the case university. The findings of this study can help schools to develop environmental policies, identify the priorities for implementing green university policies, and achieve the goal of a green university efficiently.

Introduction/background: The paper pointed out the main elements of the human risk factor procedures shows the complexity of human risk factor management. Aim of the paper: The aim of this paper is to analyze the human risk factor in open pit mining, especially on compliance with safety rules and regulations. Materials and methods: The presented survey, in the form of a questionnaire, was conducted in an open pit coal mine involving 476 mineworkers. The goals were to determine factors with the biggest influence on risk and to create a model for predicting the behavior of mining workers. Results and conclusions: The obtained results indicate that leadership plays an important role in worker behavior. A supportive leadership style results in more responsible employee behavior and a lower probability of deviation to rules and procedures. The result also indicates that the safe behavior of workers is strongly influenced by the difficult to control factor of "life satisfaction". It has also been found that riskier work and longer work experience increases the likelihood of breaking the rules. Research limitations/implications: The obtained results are partly influenced by national culture. Practical implications: The obtained results indicate the need for continuous improvement in the risk management process and the rules and procedures by applying worker feedback.

Standardy zaprezentowane w artykule są ważnym źródłem informacji dla wszystkich uczestników procesu budowlanego. Przedstawiają poprawne rozwiązania dla konkretnych uwarunkowań występujących na dachach, które mogą być przydatne nie tylko dekarzom, ale również projektantom, architektom i pracownikom nadzoru budowlanego.

The article is a fragment of the "Roofing Guidelines" (Wytyczne Dekarskie), developed and published by the Polish Roofers' Association (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Dekarzy). It focuses on the most important principles of roofing with ceramic and conerete tiles. The standards presented in the Article are an important source of information for all participants of the construction process. They present right solutions for specific conditions on roofs, which can be useful not only for roofers, but also for designers, architects and building inspection staff.

The right way to agility should start with a proper agile mindset instead of applying Agile methods directly. However, apart from the manifesto, it is unlikely to find a comprehensive set of Agile principles that can serve for an improved agile mindset. Our study intends to fulfill this gap in a systematic way: providing a list of the Agile methods along with their principles within a single source, in the way of providing a better understanding of the concept of agility from a wide and exhaustive perspective. To do so, the collected 105 principles were content-analyzed in order to group them into 32 categories for a higher-level abstraction. These categories then were subsumed into two main categories. The whole grouping process was reviewed by one expert and the list was adjusted accordingly. Then, based on the consolidated list of the categorized principles, analysis and evaluations were made by the authors. As a part of the evaluations, semi-structured interviews with two experts were conducted to evaluate the categorized principles in general, especially in terms of their contribution to agility.

The article presents evolution and formation of rules of artillery employment in combat operations. The first part of the article addresses a process of shaping the rules of artillery employment over hundreds of years of its development. The second part is devoted to a doctrinal approach currently adopted by the Missile Forces and Artillery. In the final section, the author proposes adopting new rules shaped during recent armed conflicts and still have a significant impact on combat effectiveness of artillery.

W artykule przedstawiono ewolucję i kształtowanie się zasad użycia artylerii w działaniach bojowych. W pierwszej części opisano proces kształtowania się zasad użycia artylerii na przestrzeni setek lat jej rozwoju. Druga cześć poświęcona jest ujęciu doktrynalnemu przyjętemu współcześnie w Wojskach Rakietowych i Artylerii. W ostatniej części Autor proponuje przyjęcie nowych zasad, które ukształtowały się w ostatnich konfliktach zbrojnych i mają duży wpływ na skuteczność bojową artylerii.

Zarzadzanie logistyką w wojsku jest rozumiane jako proces, ciąg posobie następującychzdarzeń. Rozpoczyna się planowaniem i poprzez organizowanie i motywowanie dochodzi do etapu kontroli. Działania te mogą być realizowane poprzez wyalienowane piony funkcjonalne takie jak np. pion materiałowy. Powoduje to jednak pewne ograniczenia i stąd też w praktyce często stosuje się podejście procesowe. Jednak i ono nie jest pozbawione wad, co skutkuje stosowaniem w realnych warunkach połączenia tych dwóch sposobów podejścia. Zwykle przynosi to pozytywne wyniki. W procesie zarządzania logistyką wojskową należy przestrzegać określonych zasad, ich stosowanie w praktyce stanowi przesłankę uzyskania pozytywnych wyników co przekłada się na skuteczną realizację zadań związanych z zaspokojeniem potrzeb logistycznych jednostek i instytucji wojskowych.

Logistics management in the military is understood as a process, a sequence of following events. It starts with planning and through organizing and motivating it comes to the control stage. These activities can be implemented through alienated functional divisions, such as the material division. However, this causes some limitations and hence the process approach is often used in practice. However, it isnot without flaws, which results in the use of the two approaches in real conditions. Usually it brings positive results. In the process of management of military logistics, certain rules must be followed, their application in practice is the premise for obtaining positive results, which translates into effective implementation of tasks related to meeting the logistic needs of military units and institutions.

Zasady komunikacji dotyczą każdego człowieka i w każdej dziedzinie jego życia znajdują zastosowanie. Autorka opracowania wskazuje na podobieństwo, podczas okolicznościowych wystąpień publicznych, stylu wypowiedzi żołnierzy ze stylem dziennikarskim czy naukowym, wskazując na wspólny oszczędny i konkretny profil wypowiedzi. Stawia ponadto tezę, że różnorodność stylu wypowiedzi kadry kierowniczej w wojsku cechuje głównie kod parajęzykowy (tzn. melodyka, ton, brzmienie głosu itp.) nie zaś zwięzłość, prostota oraz brak redundancji. Te, zdaniem autorki, cechują generalnie dzisiejsze społeczeństwo oparte na szybkim, obrazowym komunikowaniu się, obecnym np. w mediach, co wymusza używanie języka krótkiego, wręcz skrótowego. Zasada prostoty obowiązuje zatem w każdej specjalizacji publicznego użycia języka (prócz zastosowań literatury pięknej, aktorstwa i sztuki artystycznej) i tym samym nie może być zarezerwowana tylko dla środowiska armii. W opracowaniu poruszono kwestię wulgaryzmów i zasadności zgłębiania zasad sztuki komunikacji wśród kadry kierowniczej wojska. Skupiono się zatem na właściwościach szeroko rozumianych kompetencji komunikacyjnych związanych z ekspozycją publiczną oficera.

Principles of the communication concern every man and in every field of his life are finding application. The author of the study shows, during occasional public appearances, the statement of soldiers the style to resemblance with the journalistic style whether scientific, pointing at the shared economical and specific profile of the statement. Moreover a paralinguistic code is putting the thesis that the diversity of the style in the army is characterizing statements of the senior staff mainly (i.e. melodic pattern, tone, sound of the voice and the like) not whereas the conciseness, the simplicity and the lack of the redundancy. These, in opinion of the author, are characterizing the today's society based on fast, vivid announcing generally oneself, for those present e.g. in the media what is forcing into using the short, simply brief tongue. And so the principle of the simplicity is applicable in every specialization of public using the tongue (apart from applications of the literature, the acting and the art) and in the process cannot be booked only for the environment of the army. In the study an issue of vulgarisms and legitimacies of exploring principles of the art of the communication amongst the senior staff of the army were addressed. And so they concentrated on the properties of widely understood communications competence associated with the public exposition of the officer.

Tatrzańskie Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe, nazywane na początku Strażą Ratunkową zostało stworzone przez Mariusza Zaruskiego w 1909, wybitnego taternika i organizatora (także żeglarza, malarza, poetę i kawalerzystę). On i jego dzieło stały się inspiracją do identyfikacji i analizy zasad organizowania TOPR. Zasady okazały się styczne do 14 zasad zarządzania Fayola. Celem opracowania jest zatem pokazanie przykładów w materiale źródłowym, że podczas organizowania TOPRu Zaruski stworzył swoiste, własne zasady organizacyjne i nie znając zasad zarządzania Fayola wypełnił je wszystkie. Artykuł ma także propagować Polskie rozwiązania myśli organizatorskiej. Metodą badawczą jest analiza porównawcza tekstów źródłowych Fayola i Zaruskiego.

Tatra Volunteer Rescue Team (TOPR), called at the beginning Rescue Guard was created by Mariusz Zaruski in 1909, an outstanding mountaineer and organizer (also a sailor, painter, poet and cavalryman). He and his work were the inspiration for the identification and analysis of the TOPR organizing basis. The rules have proved to be tangent to the Fayol 14 management principles. The aim of the study is therefore to show that during organization of TOPR Zaruski created a specific, own organizational rules and management principles without knowing the Fayol's work filled it. The article is also to promote Polish organization solutions. Research method is comparative analysis of Fayol and Zaruski texts.

The paper concerns dimensional analysis and the theory of model similarity of physical phenomena. At the beginning of the considerations, basic notions, definitions, relationships and fundamental principles of the issues to be analysed has been presented. Next, Buckingham's Π-theorem of dimensional analysis and theory of similarity as well as authorial generalized theorems Π of this field of interest have been derived. A separate chapter has been devoted to the problem of the nature of physical phenomena occurring in the mechanics of continuous or discrete material mediums. At the end of the paper, an example of the determination of similarity numbers in the case of a system with one degree of freedom at mechanical and kinematic excitation have been given.

Praca dotyczy analizy wymiarowej i teorii podobieństwa modelowego zjawisk fizycznych. Na wstępie przedstawiono podstawowe pojęcia, definicje, związki i fundamentalne zasady dotyczące rozpatrywanych problemów. Następnie wyprowadzono twierdzenie Π Buckinghama dotyczące analizy wymiarowej i teorii podobieństwa oraz autorskie uogólnienie twierdzenia Π. Oddzielny rozdział został poświęcony problemowi zjawisk fizycznych występujących w mechanice ośrodków ciągłych i dyskretnych. W części końcowej artykułu przedstawiono przykład określenia liczb podobieństwa w przypadku układu o jednym stopniu swobody przy wzbudzeniu mechanicznym i kinematycznym.

Principles of railway vehicle operation, operation planning, and vehicle features as a subject of the operational use, as well as the impact of the environment on vehicles are discussed. Factors stimulating the maintenance of vehicles are characterized as well as attention is drawn to the potential and the impact of these factors on decision making process regarding vehicle maintenance.

Described in the company management system, which presents the concept, general construction and site management subsystem in the quality of the database and available tools and methods. A new approach to methodology development services using the principles, methods and tools are already shaping the quality of the practice of most transport companies.

W artykule przedstawiono autorską koncepcję modelowania wielkiego makrosystemu transportowego, badanego według kryteriów logistycznych. Zgodnie z zasadami analizy systemowej proces modelowania makrosystemu został zdekomponowany na dwa etapy dotyczące kolejno modelowania identyfikacyjnego (jakościowego) i optymalizacyjnego (ilościowego). Efektem analizy identyfikacyjnej powinno być wypracowanie sformalizowanego modelu opisującego makrosystem transportowy w konwencji przydatnej do badań ilościowych, na etapie optymalizacji jego działania. W tym celu w makrosystemie transportowym zostały wyodrębnione takie elementy, jak cel, dziedzina, przeciwdziedzina, zasady i reguły oraz podstawowe problemy decyzyjne, które w drugim etapie badań będą poddane próbie optymalizacji w sensie ustalonych kryteriów logistycznych. Opis makrosystemu transportowego został przeprowadzony pod kątem kryteriów współczesnej logistyki rynkowej, której naczelnym zadaniem jest minimalizacja kosztów przy maksymalnym spełnieniu standardów rynkowej obsługi klienta.

The paper presents an original concept of a large transport macro-system modeling, which was investigated with logistic criteria. In accordance with the system analysis the process of modeling was divided in two stages: identification-oriented modeling (qualitative one) as well as optimization-oriented modeling (quantitative one). The result of the identification-oriented analysis should be working out a formalized model describing a transport macro system in the way useful in quantitative research work at the stage of optimization of its operation. To this end, the following elements were distinguished in the transport macro-system: aim, domain, counter domain, principles, rules as well as basic decision-related problems, which will be tested in the second research stage (optimization regarding fixed logistic criteria). The description of the macro transport system was done with regard the contemporary market logistics, whose main mission is to minimize the costs and simultaneously to maximize the fulfilment of customer market service standards.

Wysoka ranga teorii Witruwiusza w naszym kręgu cywilizacyjnym jest rezultatem faktu, iż traktat w którym została zapisana był pierwszym w historii architektury zbiorem porad i wytycznych napisanych przez architekta praktyka. Zawierał zarówno wskazania dotyczące wykształcenia architekta, jego relacji z klientem jak zasady ujęte w kategorie pozwalające na kontrolę jakości samej architektury. Teoria ta była bardzo mocno związana z współczesną Witruwiuszowi filozofią opartą na interrelacji człowieka i kosmosu i podobnie jak owa filozofia akcentowała wartości uniwersalne, co skutkowało dawniej i skutkuje nadal faktem, iż abstrakcja stała się niemal Zachodnią obsesją górując nad świadomością istoty powstawania i oceny architektury. Triada: trwałość, użyteczność, piękno współcześnie uzupełniona o znaczenie może w naszych czasach być traktowana jedynie metaforycznie, stanowiąc jednocześnie ogólnie zrozumiały odnośnik i płaszczyznę dyskusji.

The high rank of the theory written by Vitruvius in our civilisation results from the fact that De Architectura containing this theory was the first treatise in the history of architecture written by the architect practitioner. Vitruvius work was dealing with education and duties of architect, the client' s role and the principles of designing architecture described in categories, allowing for controlling its quality. His theory was very tightly connected with the contemporary philosophical arguments, relying upon the deep belief of interrelation of Man with Cosmos, accentuating the universal values in the same manner, what indirectly caused the fact that abstraction became almost the Western prejudice, prevailing over examining the essence of creation and judging the architecture. The three categories: stability, function and beauty, nowadays supplemented by meaning in our era can be treated only metaphorically, however constituting versatile reference and setting the proper conditions for the discourse at the same time.
