Zasadniczym celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaprezentowanie, użytecznej w zarządzaniu technologiami a w szczególności w planowaniu rozwoju technologii, metody technology roadmapping. Początkowo przedstawiono ideę, koncepcję oraz strukturę zarządzania technologiami. Dalej opisano metodę technology roadmapping jako narzędzie wspomagające proces zarządzania technologiami. Ponadto przeanalizowano wybrane publikacje z zakresu wykorzystania tej metody. Artykuł zakończono rekomendacjami dotyczącymi projektowania marszrut rozwoju technologii.

The main aim of this article is to present the method of technology roadmapping, useful in technology management, and particularly in planning the development of technology. Initially, the idea the concept and the structure of technology management are presented. Next, the method of technology roadmapping is described, as a tool to support the process of technology management. Also, the selected publications on the use of this method have been analysed. The article is concluded with recommendations on the design of the routing of technology development.

Roadmapping jest metodologią, która wprowadzona została przez duże korporacje elektroniczne w USA w latach 70. ub.w. jako narzędzie planowania strategicznego i wspomagającego decyzje inwestycyjne. W artykule podano sformułowanie typowego problemu, który może być rozwiązywany w procesie roadmappingu - problemu optymalnego wprowadzania na rynek nowych produktów w oparciu o planowanie strategiczne i prognozowanie scenariuszowe technologii chemii nieorganicznej. Przedstawiono też podstawowe idee foresightu i sposób wykorzystania wyników badań foresightowych do budowy strategii w procesie roadmappingu. Pokazano schemat konstrukcji diagramów roadmappingowych oraz metody wspomagania decyzji strategicznych przy wykorzystaniu informacji zebranych w badaniach foresightowych i w procesie roadmappingu, który może także zawierać procedury wykrywania i wyceny opcji rzeczywistych związanych z procesem rozwoju i wdrażania innowacji. Zamieszczony przykład obrazuje praktyczne wykorzystanie roadmappingu do planowania strategii rozwoju produkcji biopaliw płynnych.

Technological roadmapping emerged in the 70's as an interactive strategic planning process. Due to its high costs, duration, mobilization of human resources and know-how, its hitherto applications were attributed mainly to long-term strategy formation in large corporations and as a tool supporting policy making. In this paper we show that thanks to the recent initiatives to carry out technological foresight exercises in Poland, the roadmapping can be used to support solutions of technological planning problems a.o. in the inorganic chemistry sector. We formulate the new product development and market placement problem (NPD-MP) and propose the solution methodology based on roadmapping, where a large part of data can be taken from publicly available results of foresight projects, and hitherto hardly formalized procedures can be performed efficiently applying computer-assisted interactive multicriteria decision making. An implementation of such decision support system allowing to construct and analyse roadmapping diagrams has been proposed by the Technology Transfer Centre of the Progress & Business Foundation. An example shows how the roadmapping diagrams can assist in building the liquid biofuels production strategy.

W artykule zajęto się analizą technologii. Zdefiniowano pojęcie technologii i omówiono zagadnienia dotyczące analizy ABC technologii. Scharakteryzowano i uszeregowano poszczególne kategorie technologii pod względem celowości ich rozwoju oraz inwestowania w nie. Wskazano istotne możliwości technologiczne wykorzystywanych w firmie maszyn. Zbadano ich zaawansowanie technologiczne i wskazano punkty krytyczne w których istnieje możliwość wystąpienia niezgodności. Przedstawiono analizę struktury występujących niezgodności. Przedstawiono możliwości rozwoju parku maszynowego firmy, który pozwoliłby poprawić jakość centrum obróbczego.

Technology analysis was examinated in the work. Technology was defined and problems related to the ABC technology were discussed. Particular technology categories related to the aim of their development as well as investing in technology were characterised, some substantial technological abilities of the machines, used in the company, were pointed. It their technological modernity was examined and show critical points in which the possibility of pronouncement of incompatibility exists. The analysis of structure was introduced the stepping out incompatibilities. Introduce the possibility of development of machine park the firm, which would permit the improvement of quality and the decrease the quantity of occurrence of incompatibility of products.
