W artykule zaprezentowano wybrane zagrożenia dla bezpiecznego funkcjonowania transportu morskiego, a także zintegrowane systemy zarządzania bezpieczeństwem żeglugi, ich części składowe, możliwości operacyjne oraz perspektywy wykorzystania w zarządzaniu kryzysowym.

The problem of managing in crisis is very important part of keeping the marine transport safe and operative. Integrated maritime safety systems (Maritime Safety Security and Surveilance – integrated systems for monitoring ports, waterways and coastlines), operating in Poland and European Union, their potential and ways of acting are described in the paper. By means of using the newest telecommunication solutions, institutions destined to managing in crisis can do their job easily, fast and efficiently, often in cooperation with their equivalents in other countries.
