W artykule przedstawiono aktualny (4 lata po wyrzucie gazów i skał w O/ZG Rudna) stan rozpoznania tego zagrożenia oraz omówiono podejmowane środki organizacyjne i techniczne pozwalające na jego ocenę.

The gas and rock breakout which occurred in 2009 at the Branch Mine "Rudna" has motivated the Mine authorities to undertake a number of measures focused on identifying the scale, propagation and intensity of the hazard, as well as several other numbers for preventive minimisation of the threat. This paper discusses, among others, the evaluation of the breakout hazard for the last four years since the breakout, the results of the geophysical surveys completed at the time, and the exploratory boreholes drilled to investigate the gas zones. Conclusions are made from the analysis which indicate that the gas outflows (of mainly nitrogen at over 90% with up to 5% of methane) are found only in 10% of the boreholes drilled in the direction of geophysically surveyed gas traps at the areas of tectonic interruptions and red clay limestone elevation zones. Based on the experience to date, a conclusion can also be made that surveying rock formations by seismic (tomographic) imaging for the purpose of exploratory operations and complemented with drilling can be an effective tool for ongoing monitoring of geodynamic gas hazards.

Dane pomiarowe kopalnianych służb ds. zwalczania zagrożenia wyrzutami gazu i węgla zawierają dziesiątki tysięcy informacji. Ich pełne wykorzystanie nie jest możliwe bez użycia odpowiedniego oprogramowania. Artykuł przedstawia informacje o zbudowanej bazie danych wyrzutowych, umożliwiającej obróbkę statystyczną wyników pomiarów oraz przygotowywanie raportów dotyczących zmian stanu zagrożenia wyrzutowego. Wydaje się, że systematycznie prowadzona baza danych wyrzutowych może być bardzo użytecznym narzędziem w rękach służb przeciwwyrzutowych.

The measurement data of the mine's service units for combating gas and coal outburst hazard contain tens of thousands of information details. No full utilization of theirs is possible without the application of an adequate software. The article presents information on the established burst phenomena data base that enable statistical processing of measurement results and preparation of reports pertaining to variations in the outburst hazard condition. It appears that a systematically developed burst phenomena data base may be a very useful tool in the hands of burst combat service units.
